September* Brunch Pop Up 🥂

Super excited that the lovely will be at our brunch tomorrow, showcasing their gorgeous products and all brunch attendees will receive an exclusive discount 🫶

Based just down the road in Chippenham, all their pieces are curated using sustainably sourced fabrics or recycled materials but are also super soft on delicate skin.

☀️ Walking club in back in 2 weeks. ☀️

Fancy some fresh air, coffee and good old chats? Then come along to our TMC Bath walk.

❣️ Walking Club is great for those who feel slightly daunted by the prospect of brunch or prefer a more active event.

▫️All our events are relaxed but walks are an easy way to chat for those who are more nervous or just don’t feel like making small talk.

⏰ Our walks are also shorter, making it easier to squeeze into a hectic routine.

🍃Walking Club is going to be a monthly occurrence alongside our brunches so come and join us on the first of many!

• A little reintroduction •

It’s been a while (nearly a year 🫣) since I put my face on these squares, so it’s about time I say hello again.

I’m Katja, your host for TMC Bath!

A few random facts about me:

• I love to talk (in person*) and I habit of over sharing 🫢
• I have a Northern accent. Brought up in Lancashire and my parents are from Leeds and Glasgow - so it’s a bit of a hybrid.
• I have a serious sugar addiction.
• I hate horror movies. Why would I give myself nightmares?

* I am useless messaging or emailing. I’m an old handwritten letter kind of soul.

I decided to run TMC Bath, honestly, because I wanted to go to the events myself! We had just moved from London to Bath in the middle of the pandemic and I didn’t know anyone, especially new mums.

I just wanted a space where I could go and chat with other mums, not clap and sing or spend my time in a ball pit wishing I could drink a hot drink coffee.

In short, I felt alone. Not in the sense I was lonely, I just need a few hours to get out of the house and meet new people.

So I asked TMC if they were coming to Bath, and a few conversations later, here we are.

We’ve been running these events for just under a year and it’s been incredible, the mums that come to our events are amazing and the best part is I love seeing, and hearing ankh the friendships that have formed at the events.

If you’re a mum, of any aged child, and fancy meeting some other amazing local mums then I hope you come along to an event. They are relaxed and friendly and you will not be alone.

This month’s goodie bag brand doesn’t need much introduction.

From weaning onwards,
are famous for making delicious, nutritious and organic baby food for our little ones. 🤤

They are a staple in our house, and have been our saviour when need a quick fix for hungry babies or when we are travelling.

Gemma will be giving us some great tips on managing sleep and how to navigate those bad patches. She will also be doing a Q&A or one on one chats if you need some help. ⭐️

It’s no sleep, plenty of tears, staying in your PJs all day, maybe too much screen time, forgetting when you last washed your hair, or if you have brushed your teeth in the last 24hours.

There’s a not so ‘grammable’ (but very real) side to motherhood and its ok to talk about it.

Amy is a seasoned TMC’r and has been a regular at her local brunch club, making sure she gets a few hours for herself and meeting local mums.

However, when she’s not enjoying her hot coffee and avocado on toast, she’s working in the family firm with her other half - Liam.
