You can tell I am a foodie as if people struggle to pronounce my name, I just say it rhymes with blancmange. Peas in a Pod came about after my business partner, Pnina, and I realised children’s parties often lacked the wow factor that adult parties often have. It really only requires passion and imagination. My passion for events and food started as a child, growing up in Africa. My family didn't
have a lot of money & my formative years were spent in a country crippled by civil war. My grandmother taught me that you can make the simple become elegant and the basics become special with a little love and a touch of thought. I went on to become an event manager at one of London's leading outside catering groups and I organised events from canapé parties through to weddings and even a dinner attended by the Queen. These events took place in London’s most prestigious venues such as: Kensington Palace, V & A, The Natural History Museum, The Wallace Collection, Tate Modern as well as Tate Britain, private homes, marquees outside London, to name but a few. I relocated to Bath in 2012 to bring up my two beautiful children in a lovely part of the UK and I haven't looked back. Now that they are growing up fast and in full time education, I am bringing my experience from high end catering and more than a few children’s parties that I have attended these last few years and fusing my two passions together with Pnina. To entice even the fussiest eaters by making healthy food visually attractive. To work where possible with only locally sourced sustainable and seasonal produce. And to bring our attention to detail, pride and passion to your child’s party. We are two peas in a pod. Literally and figuratively. We share the same passions and want to make the children feel as special as the adults at the events that we create. We won't break your bank, but we will break expectations.
