PICKLES AND FLUFF

In all the rabbit frenzy over the past several months we’ve actually not introduced you to two very sweet Guineapig’s which we were able to adopt earlier this year from a lovely family in Bath. Meet Pickles and Fluff who are two very cute, black fur-balls! They get lots of cuddles and grooming sessions with the kids and have settled in very well!!

BUNNY UPDATE 🐰

Hey all! Here’s a little update from our bunnies. I foraged them some haze leaves this morning which they weren’t sure about to start with but soon got into them! 🍃

Waffles 🧇 is looking so big now and Peaches is growing his winter coat and looking very handsome! Then the most amazing update is that Olive has gone completely grey! Her coat since being pregnant and giving birth has turned a number of different shades. Will do a reel soon just about that. Doesn’t she look pretty 😍

ITS CLEANING DAY

CANDY AND LOLLY UPDATE

A week on from when we said goodbye to Candy and Lolly, it’s so lovely to get an update from their new forever family letting us know that they have settled in well and are really bonded now! Apparently little sweet Candy is now the mischievous one who wont sit still for cuddles 🥰 Here they are looking adorable 🐰🐰💕

LET US OUT!! 😍😆💕

The bunnies were gathered together this morning waiting for me to let them out into their enclosure. So cute!! Then the babies couldn’t work out how to get down 🤦🏻‍♀️😆 Then eventually they were all down having breakfast together… freshly picked hawthorn and plantain 🍃

Kits are now 5 weeks old and so very soon they’ll be able to leave mum and dad! Wish we could keep them all but sadly can’t. Choosing who to keep is so hard though… we’re watching to see who has a natural bond with mum and dad! Will keep you posted! 🐰🤍

4 WEEKS OLD KITS

I can’t believe our kits are now 4 weeks old! Here are some pics of them this morning exploring their enclosure which they can now fully access as they are big enough to jump back up into their hutch and they now won’t fit through the gaps in the wire fencing! Enjoy! 💕

OUR KITS HAVE NAMES 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰

Here they all are just 3 weeks old and too adorable for words! We have finally managed to agree on all their names… can you guess our ongoing theme 😆 The twins are Lolly and Pop of course 🍭 Licki was tricky to name on theme… so went for Liquorice 🍬💕

They are enjoying more explore time around the hutch and have started nibbling mummys hay so all developing well!

OMG! FIRST ZOOMIES 🏎️💕

The bunny kits are now 14 days old and one independently left the nest this morning and ventured down stairs in their hutch so we got them all out for a run around in the kitchen. The little ginger one was definitely ready to stretch his legs!! Enjoy his ZOOMIES 😍💕

PEACHES 🍑

The day has finally come for Peaches to have his op. He’s now big enough and has all the right bits in place to have his op which will mean he’ll be able to continue to live with Olive without trying to mount her every few minutes - bless Olive! Peaches is so loving though and although I’ve kept him in a separate cage within the bunny enclosure so he can still smell and see Olive, I can tell he really has missed not snuggling up and hopping around with her.

The vets asked for a packed lunch for him as he’ll be in all day. The operation has a higher risk for rabbits than it does for cats and dogs so praying all goes smoothly and we get our Peaches back later this afternoon! 🙏🏻

MINILOP BABIES 8 DAYS OLD 😍

Here are what our mini lop babies looks like just 8 days after being born. Fully furred but with eyes still shut. They have such beautiful markings already and all look very different apart from the two that we’re calling ‘the twins’ who look identical. Olive is doing such a good job at feeding them although we haven’t seen her feed as mummy bunnies only feed their kits for a few minutes everyday but that’s enough to grow her little ones as bunny milk is very calorifico! 💪🏼

ARCHIE 🐰

Archie is such a loving rabbit. Every evening when I head out to feed him and the Guineapigs he hops around my ankles looking for a cuddle and pellets to snack on.

Sadly about 3 months ago we lost Carrots, which was very sad for us all, especially Archie 😢. Despite this loss he has been doing so well getting use to being on his own. We are looking for a new ‘bunny friend’ for him so we will update you when we find him a good match. In the meantime we’ll continue to give him lots of cuddles and extra bunny treats ❤️.

He’ll be leaving his mum next week 😢 so we’ll be looking for a loving home for him 💕

MEET POPPY

It’s been a little quiet on our Bunny and Blooms account as we’ve created space to reflect and prepare but we wanted to share some cute news with you that Popcorn gave birth to two little pups a few weeks ago who are both doing well. This is Poppy who’s a total spit of her mum! 😍 Will post a photo of her brother Peanuts soon… he’s just too wriggly too photograph 😁
