We at the Torphichen Inn take our responsibilities for your safety very seriously. Please ensure you keep your table sizes to maximum of 6 and 3 households only
Wear your mask if not exempt when entering, leaving and moving around

Don't forget it is table service and some people are still not comfortable with you approaching their table so respect others distancing.

Happy New Year to you all!

The Inn is open tonight, however after tonight it will close until March, to allow essential maintenance as we prepare for the upcoming season. Throughout this period we will open for private functions only. Thank you all for your support in 2024 and we look forward to welcoming you back for start of season 2025.

Can I take this opportunity to thank all those who came along to the Inn for our quiz and open mic night, it was excellent.

Big thanks to Davy Woolfe our excellent quiz master and Charlie Tibbles for his fantastic musicianship.
We will run this every Friday til the new year all welcome. Brilliant night thanks to all.

The Torphichen inn will be open each Friday until the new year. Come along and enjoy our pub quiz and open mic night. Quiz 7 til 9 teams of 4 with a £5 entry fee per team. Followed by live music and open mic facility. All this as you enjoy the comfort of a roaring log burner with hot soup provided for all.We will provide a donation box for the soup and combined with the quiz entry fee, this will be used for good causes within the village.
ALL WELCOME...support us as we support the local community.

Unfortunately I have made the decision to close the wee tearoom with immediate effect.

It’s clear that there's no demand for itin Torphichen. May i apologise to those who have made use of the facility, but sadly its just not viable. The Inn will go from strength to strength and we will look at other ways to facilitate the village and create employment within it.

The Torphichen tea room will also open for business on Wednesday 13th March.
Opening hours will be Mon-Fri 10-12, so pop along for a cuppa.

I'd like to take the opportunity to wish all our patrons a very happy new year. And take the opportunity to lay out our plans for the coming year.
The Inn will be open tomorrow 5th January, special price on draught products.
However with the cost of energy soaring, and with much publicised dry January, i have decided to close the Inn until the 8th March. This will give us the opportunity to do some maintenance and painting ready for the new season. The Inn will however be available for hire to villagers for special events throughout the winter.
Finally it is my intention to open a tea/coffee shop facility Mon til Friday on a trial basis from Monday 4th March. Hours of opening to follow.
Thanks for your continued support and we look forward to another successful season.

The Inn will be celebrating HOGMANAY by putting on a special show by ticket only!!
Opening at 8pm ,with a complimentary drink on arrival, and a steak pie dinner as soon as your seated.
With live music, Scottish themed disco,piper, and with a special minutes silence prior to the bells as we remember our absent friends... tickets on sale at the Inn this Friday evening.
£25 all included.

Torphichen Inn update...

I'm sure most of the villagers will be aware, our international coach tour side of the business is going from strength to strength. This offers the Inn sustainability, and allows us to showcase the village and tell the story of its rich history.
We would like to extend this provision to residents of the village, to allow you to enjoy an evening with us, and give you the opportunity to see why we have become such a popular location by these tour companies.
Anyone wishing to join us for these evenings, either individually or as a group of friends and family, are welcome to book at the Inn, where our diary is available for bookings. A special price is available to villagers and includes 3 course dinner, full entertainment and the provision of 2 complimentary drinks.
We ask you not to sit on the outside looking in,no need to speculate come on in and witness it for yourself and help us showcase your village, by offering and being part of our wonderful torphichen hospitality.
