Wow……. What else can we say. A massive festive thank you to everyone who attended today and especially all the children who visited Santa. Was heartwarming to see do many smiling faces. A huge thank you to all of the suppliers, the Photobooth by Optimal Events Hire, the face painters and everyone who made the event so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended Day 1 of the Inveralmond Christmas Craft Fair & Fun Day and also to all of our Saturday suppliers who won’t be joining us tomorrow.

It was great to see so many local families enjoying the event, seeing Santa, getting a selfie with the elfie and all of the fabulous exhibitors.

Roll on tomorrow as we welcome more suppliers and attendees.

At each of our events we also like to support charities or organisations who do great things for their local community. We welcome back for a 3rd year Sharon from More Than Fibro - SCIO on Sunday the 1st of December 12pm to 3pm.

More Than Fibro was established in 2020 and was founded by Sharon Turnbull. Sharon has lived with Fibromyalgia since 2007 as well as other long-term conditions.

They offer online support across all social media including a closed support page for people living with Fibromyalgia and their carers. There are virtual coffee chats twice weekly on Microsoft Teams. They also hold support meetings in numerous communities with a variety of speakers to help you access the support that you need.

Sharon has tailored her own advocacy service, using her knowledge and experience gained working with CAB, to be able to deliver a unique service to help people living with Fibromyalgia identify and access the benefits they may be entitled to, the service is a huge success and Sharon believes this is due to her insight into living with Fibromyalgia and the challenges it presents daily.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of More Than Fibro and we already have a great team, but we are always looking for more people to join us, especially if you are living with or caring for someone with Fibromyalgia.

Joining us for the first time on Sunday the 1st of December is Kellie from The Beauty Project who is a certified specialist in Oncology Massage, Menopause Massage and will be showcasing her MooGoo range of beauty & skin products.

MooGoo specialises in treating skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis, along with products for highly sensitive skin. They offer a variety of skincare, body care, and haircare options suitable for both babies and adults.

The office will be closed today and tomorrow as we head through to the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central for the Your Scottish Wedding Awards 2024. This year, however, will be different as we are part of the judging process at these outstanding awards. The Your Scottish Wedding Awards were established to recognise those wedding industry suppliers who work tirelessly to put their couples at the heart of everything they do. The awards provide an impartial platform to distinguish the very best our industry has to offer. We would like to wish every finalist the very best of luck tonight and to Your Scottish Wedding for all of their support at our exhibitions.
