✨FRIDAYS FRIEND!🧚🏻‍♀️🧚 Here is the lovely Harriet, owner of in George Street in Hastings old town. I firmly believe in supporting other businesses, small, independent, local, creative, inspirational, and I always do, where and when I can. Even better when it’s reciprocal 😻
Harriet hired me to paint at her magical storytelling event last week, and of course, I had to paint her too!!!

🎶HIDDEN BEACH DAY 2!!🌟 What a lovely day we had yesterday ! We met and painted, glittered and adorned some awesome kids and adults, like these 4 here 😻 My hand crafted bling and unicorn 🦄 hair were very popular, and lots of the stewards and workshop people got involved too 😻

🛍️ PRIORY MEADOW 👩🏻‍🎨 Today I was painting for shopping centre, next to their summer pop up sandpit. A lovely couple of hours, meeting lots of great kids and parents..

✨6YRS Vs 2MTHS AGO!🌈
Believe it or not, it would have taken me longer to paint the one on the left, than the one from the Beer festival.

We all start somewhere, and need the opportunities to gain experience, as it’s one of the ways we learn, make mistakes, rectify these, and develop skills, ‘on the job’.

These past 6yrs, I have studied the theory, practiced, attended workshops, classes, observed, listened and literally learnt on many jobs, to be able to call myself a Professional Face painter.
I know, that I am providing the quality expected of this title.

🚍BUSMANS HOLIDAY!😸 Fitting in a rare free weekend to see our friends in honour of our 3 oldest children turning 16 this year 😻
Obviously there had to be a little session of glitter tattoos!! Making sure everyone was appropriately attired for Cornish expeditions and Boomtown Festival celebrations 😻

😻A FAVOURITE JOB?😻 Yesterday I was back at saxonmountschool painting the children. I love this particular booking, and I’ve now done it for the past few years 🤩 It’s particularly close to my heart as I also have Neurodiverse children. These kids are always great and give me fun challenges. This time it was all arms and legs, not just because it was a fabulous hot day, but because not all of us want our faces touched or painted. There are always options. So some very happy girls went home with both arms and a leg done. I’m looking forward to going back in August 😻

🖤WOW!!🍔
What a day yesterday was Half Man Half Burger for the Burger Jam!!! Best vibe, best people, epic music 🎶 and the absolutely best crew that was HMHB 😻
This was my picture of the day 😺
He waited in my queue so patiently, because he had to have a paint! He and his Dad had travelled from Southampton following HotWax and SNAYX Especially 😺 and they weren’t the only ones who had travelled far and wide.
Thankyou Rory and ALL the HMHB team for having us along for such a special event, and ensuring we had a cold drink or two on such a wonderful summers day!!

😻MEET THE FAM!😻 I grabbed a rare, spare, sunny day to have a day trip out with my own family 😺 is always beautiful 🤩 and full of inspiration, for face painting. Art, decoration, colour, flaura and fauna, work, always in the back of my mind 😏 Even better? Despite all the neurodiversity, everyone had a lovely day 😻

⭕️😻LOOK WHO I PAINTED!😻🏴‍☠️ Xena flame Performer asked me to paint her ready for her performance down Goat Ledge yesterday. Despite loving her mega hooping skills since I saw her a few years ago busking in George street, I always miss them, as I’m working 😏 Then we bumped into each other a couple of months ago just before she was about to perform as part of Curious Agenda s festival. She knew who I was! 🙀 said she’d love me to paint her 😻
So yesterday, in the Flamingo arcade, we finally got to chat, about as much as we could fit in, while I painted and glittered 😻 and what an awesome pleasure it was!!! Here’s to more in the future! 🤩

☠️FIRST DAY OF PIRATE 🏴‍☠️ WEEKEND!☠️ It said it was going to be cloudy ☁️? Well Hastings ignored that 🌞 and shone bright and beautiful to welcome all the wonderful pirates 🏴‍☠️ our way!! The staff made sure they were suitably painted, and we had a wonderful collection of faces. Yes, it was exceptionally windy festival on Saturday.
Thankyou to everyone who helped make it possible for my gazebo to survive the 12hrs!
Thankyou to every single person who came and got glitter, a facepaint, or both. Taking pictures was tricky, so not many done.
Well done everyone for another fabulous event, the funds raised, the fun had, the continued use of a precious green space.
