Kate and Charlie 🌿

A buttercream finish with the most exquisite selection of foliages and blooms from Rebecca - the textures are perfect for this time of year! We added a few mini pinecones too.

Guests could choose from white chocolate mud cake with raspberry jam & white chocolate passion fruit ganache, zesty orange & chocolate or pink velvet with strawberry and Champagne 🍾

I've delivered my last wedding cake!

It was lovely to be back at .priory today for Kate and Charlie's wedding, along with - all looked stunning! Looking forward to seeing photos from

I don't know where the last 12 years have gone but it's fair to say I've visited Hodsock the most so it was nice to finish with the fab team there. It's not fully sunk in yet... Maybe it will after Christmas when I'm not planning wedding fair displays and making new cake designs..

However, I'll be keeping busy in the garden. Planning a future as a flower farmer, providing beautiful, seasonal blooms to florists so I'm spending the next year continuing to learn as much as possible. Follow my adventures over on Instagram 🌿

Raffle update...

I'm still waiting for the license from Doncaster Council to sell tickets online. It was meant to take a week, it's been two weeks and I've sent two follow up emails but no reply (phone line isn't available).

I'm sorry to everyone who's messaged saying they'd like to buy tickets - I really want to start selling them! I'll post as soon as we get the green light. With no longer having our shop, online tickets is the best way to reach as many people as possible.

Tickets will be £2, split between Blood Cancer UK and Bassetlaw Food Bank. One lucky person will win this entire bundle of prizes!!

Raffle update

A few people have messaged asking to buy tickets. The raffle will start as soon as possible but because I no longer have my shop, I'd like to sell tickets online to hopefully raise as much money as possible. If I sold tickets in person at an event, I could do it straight away for free. To sell online I have to apply for a licence from the council (takes about a week) and pay £60 (£40 admin fee and £20 annual fee). I'll pay this myself, not out of ticket sales.

I'll let you know as soon as I've got the licence and tickets are available.

Fluffy florals for Jaime-Lee and Victor x

Classic iced shortbreads for Alexandra and Calum's favours with gold leaf to coordinate with their cake (see previous post). They asked for eco-friendly packaging so I sourced plastic free, biodegradable, compostable and recyclable glassine wallets from @xoandquin - they have been waiting patiently in my kitchen since their March 2020 wedding was cancelled!
