🎵 🎤 Yesterday saw me hosting a fun music bingo in the village of Hedgerley, an event courtesy of the amazing Tracy Trust which supports older residents in the community.
☕️ 🍰 As expected, it was a roaring success which had us singing along to classic tunes from the 50-70s all afternoon. We were even treated to a delicious cream tea during the break between games, how pampered were we!
🎵 A cheeky bit of Music Bingo on Saturday for a lovely client who wanted a bit of quirky entertainment during a family BBQ in the garden. To make it all a bit more edgy and exciting, everyone paid to play so there’d be cash prizes for the winners.
🥳 Love how fun and inclusive MB is, it’s such a simple, fun way to bring a bit of wow factor to your event, whether it be a small family gathering or a big corporate affair!
☀️ Monday night’s ‘sunny themed’ Music Bingo had to be one of our most eventful yet, incredibly fun with big jackpot winners too. We actually had so many players in attendance on Monday, we had to print extra cards in the second game, which is just incredible. There was also spontaneous dancing, ruptorous singing, mad calls and joyous laughter. Claudio (photo below), managed to break a new pub record too in claiming a line after just seven tracks into the first game, I still can hardly believe it!
🕺🏼 A particular highlight for me was trying to keep up with our new little resident dancer Theo who busted out some breakdancing moves that’d put an Australian Olympian to shame! And then there was young Henry, who after having to do the walk of shame back to his seat after an invalid call in the first game, returned triumphant in the second, winning £125 with a cheeky two line win. It’s moments like these that makes all the hard work that goes into these nights, so worth it. Thanks as always to Fran and her team for making these bingo nights the highlight of our month; she and her band of merry workers work their little socks off!
💰 Lastly, congratulations to these two lucky winners: Claudio with his 7 song track win and Trevor who snatched last night’s big jackpot of £333.

🎶 Oh my goodness what a wonderful night of Music Bingo we had yesterday, the crowd were on fire, they never stopped singing, laughing and dancing.
🏆 Congratulations to our two jackpot winners Debbie (£100) and Sami (£350). Young Sami only joined in the second game after his big sister Jasmine rushed out to pick him up from Army Cadets in the interval (I even extended it a wee bit so they could get back in time!). Sami had never played Music Bingo before, so to say he was stunned was an understatement!
🙏 Thank you to everyone who attends my Music Bingos, including family, friends and as was the case last night, fun-loving people who I’ve hosted events for in the past! It’s always nice to see new faces. And of course big thanks to Fran and all her amazing staff too. Fran is THE BEST landlady ever, and it’s a credit to her that the pub is so successful. Since the start of bingo she’s even brought in three more tv screens so everyone can watch the music videos!

And this, ladies and gentlemen, and jellybeans, is why I do the crazy things I do. My last client was an absolute joy to work with and I was made up when I received this review.
For me, life is about those little explosions of joy: laughing until your belly aches, getting typsy, singing, playing, and laughing with abandon with friends and family, and sometimes, if you’re lucky “winning” too. I count myself very lucky that I have the confidence and ability to connect with people so easily and have found a medium in which to do it.
It’s not rocket science, what I do only works because I am passionate about bringing people together in fun and whacky ways, and hopefully this shows.

A little bit late in posting this, but last Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting an interactive wireless quiz for a wonderful lady’s 50th birthday.
My remit was to create a personalised quiz eg to capture an essence of the birthday girl and to entertain her guests, ages of which ranged from about 2-60 years of age. There were about 60 guests in attendance, a third of which were children. The quiz would last about an hour long and would start whilst desserts were being served and before the DJ took over.
I love a challenge, and really enjoyed creating a special, bespoke quiz. Obviously it helped that my client was awesome - we clicked straight away and enjoyed sharing our ideas as to how we could best make it work. I rose to the challenge and by the review my client sent me that very same evening, I think we managed to pull it off, with bells on. Congratulations to our Top Bananas of the evening: Liam, Roland and kids! The scores changed every round so it was a bit of shock when we got to the winners’ scoreboard, it was a very close run thing!
Special mention goes to the hotel and all of its friendly, professional staff, I’d highly recommend it as a celebration venue.
😜 Another excuse to get out of the housework. My stickers for my bingo highlighters have arrived, and it’s essential of course that they are stuck on immediately!

🎤 Hosted a cheeky 60/70’s music video bingo at my dad’s retirement village today to celebrate six years of their opening - there were about 60 ‘Golden Oldies’ in attendance (my dad turned up to play, and bought me a glass of wine, bless him).
A bit nerve racking when you host there, as they always ask residents to fill in a feedback form afterwards. Suffice to say, I got wonderful reviews and lots of pleads for me to come and host again. Love my ‘job’! 😜
🎵 Fabulous night at the Spindle yesterday with about 180 players, our busiest event yet there. I’m amazed how well attended these music bingos are, especially considering they’re held on a Monday night! The vibe in the pub was electric, people sang their little hearts out. What a pleasure it is for me to host there. Our next bingo there on Monday 24 June already has 144 booked in, so if you want to join us, you’d better get to it!
🍺 The staff, as always, were brilliant - the organisation on these nights is phenomenal, drinks and food are not only served quickly, but always with a smile too.
👏 Not many photos taken last night but I did grab a couple of our jackpot winners, George and Leia. We gave out over £700 last night, along with copious amounts of Prosecco!

🙂 I had the privilege of hosting a fundraising event for a lovely group of people from Chesham yesterday, it was such a fun, inclusive evening. I’ve just received two amazing reviews from the organisers, so there is now one very happy QuizMaster! I will post these reviews separately, as they obviously need their own special space on here, lol!
🐆 🐘 🦏 We had ten teams of up to eight players competing, all of which were named after African animals. The fundraiser was in aid of some local students who are off to Eswatini in a few months’ time to take part in a World Challenge. It was great to meet them and they helped me loads yesterday. I wish them much luck in their adventures.
🏆 Many congratulations to our winners ‘The Leopards’ who were consistently in the top two, they played a blinder. The top two individual winners (each handset logs their individual scores), were also from the top two winning teams. Phoebe (Team leopard), not only was our highest scorer of the evening but she won the top prize in the Music Bingo too. Let’s hope she plays the lottery tonight and makes it a hat-trick!

🎵 🎤 I had the pleasure of hosting for a group of fabulous Masons and their partners last night. The remit was to create a half hour 60’s themed music bingo, and a half hour fun wireless quiz (eg buzzers), to fit around a three course meal, speeches and a raffle. My events usually last a bit longer but as always, I was up for the challenge!
🍳 I actually relish creating bespoke quizzes for my clients. Last night’s players’ ages ranged from about 25 to 80yrs, and I am confident when I say I l’d obviously pitched it right, the feedback I received on the night was fabulous! Glenn and I were put up in the hotel overnight for this event, so I was very relieved to overhear the guests talking about the evening in such a positive light over breakfast this morning!
🏆 The scores were close, but congratulations to our quiz winners Chloe and George, not only for being our Top Bananas of the evening, but also for being the youngest!

And of course, having a “Full House” before we’d even started playing the music bingo was very exciting. The 80’s playlist went down a storm, even the youngsters were able to recognise some of the biggest bangers!
💰Because of the big numbers in attendance last night, we were able to give some decent prize money out too, more than £500 in total was split between the two games. Much kudos to our two big jackpot winners!

🎤 I love my job! On Friday I got to host a music bingo for 120 children aged from 7-11 at a local primary school - the evening was a free gift from their PTA, so there were no no-shows. The students knew it was a Bingo Night, but that was about all. Well, I’ve never seen such a happy, animated audience - they didn’t stop smiling, singing or dancing throughout the two hours I was there. I had a lovely positive email from a member of the PTA, who helped on the night - it looks like we smashed it! 👏 The kids were honestly an absolute dream, they couldn’t wait to come and thank me at the end and left the room practically skipping! I love how children have no filter - my favourite quote of the night was when I was having a conversation with some Y6 boys: Boy1: So there are no numbers? Me: Nope, instead of numbers, it’s music. Boy2: Yeh, numbers are for pensioners! 😂 📷 Obviously I can’t post any pictures on here because of their ages, but here’s a little pixilated snapshot of the evening to give you an idea as to the energy (and noise) in the room! #musicbingo #ptaevents
