Some life updates:

- So far I have shot 15 GORGEOUS weddings.

- editing is right on track

- my Google profile came back but sadly, I’ve lost over 60 reviews.

- been working behind the scenes in my beautiful new website.

- summer holidays with an almost 5 year old has been fun and also had its challenges along the way.
( Margaritas have helped)

- think I bought the worlds cutest cat and now I fear that I’m only going to be showing you cat spam.

- I have no more destination weddings till October so I’m rather excited to be home for a while

- I’ve bought a brand new Canon 35mm camera and can’t wait to shoot with it these weekend.

That’s about it really. Been enjoying the quiet moments at home this week and loved catching up on some editing. Thank you to all the new booking so far this summer. 2025 is looking very adventurous!

Down came the rain

and it did not wash the wedding out. Instead we danced on tables, drank cocktails, did ALOT of shots and had the best day ever! Don’t let a little rain ruin the fun, embrace it and watch the magic unravel.

I often wonder why I cry at weddings. Why we all cry at weddings?

For me, as a wedding photographer, crying at weddings is a testament to the deep emotional connections I form with each couple and their story. It’s a privilege to capture these moments, to be a part of such a significant day, and to feel the profound emotions that make each wedding unique. It’s not just the beautiful vows or the little moments between loved ones; it’s the profound tapestry of emotions that weddings pull together, creating a unique and deeply moving experience for all those involved.

So, yes, we cry at weddings because of happiness, love, and the connections we feel. Wedding are a tribute to the beauty of love, the memories of those we miss, and the joy of seeing two people come together in a celebration of life’s most precious gift. It’s an honor to witness and capture these moments, and it’s a reminder of why I do what I do – because love, in all its forms, is truly beautiful.

“ But did you have any fun’

Yesterday was a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments as Jasmin & Connaugh tied the knot in the heart of Manchester! The celebrations kicked off with an intimate meal at Climat, surrounded by their closest friends and family, and a breathtaking view over the city.

As the day unfolded, we moved to Lock 91 for an epic evening reception where more friends joined the fun. The night was nothing short of magical, with guests sipping champagne and dancing on tables as the sun was setting. It was an honour to be their photographer, capturing the true essence of their special day - all about love, life, and celebrating with the people they cherish the most.

Those few minutes waiting for your scans to download are some the longest moments as a photographer. So much excitement combined with nervousness and pinch of self doubt are all thrown in. It’s what makes film so exciting and I’ll never stop feeling this way.

Im currently sat in the garden with a cup of tea and looking through some old galleries. I love doing this from time to time and seeing how far I’ve come and reflecting on all the incredible people I’ve met along with way.

This is Katie getting ready with her folks at Hope Street. She asked me if could use her Grandads camera on the day to capture her day. This was so special for me. I’ve loved hanging out her and her family on the day. It was so intimate and calm and I felt like I’d always known them. I love how special days like these have become in my life and still to this day pinch myself that this even my job.

In my life, I love you more.

There are some couples that just make you feel like home, Kate & Rhys are one of them. Their Liverpool elopement was the sweetest. They surprised their daughter on the day and even had a prepared reading for her for the ceremony. After we walked around the street of Liverpool and stopped off in John Lennon’s favourite pub for a pint.

I adored this day, I adored them and so grateful to be apart of something so special.
