An absolutely super day back to classes!!

❤️ It was lovely to be back at VPS this morning and see all the familiar children and staff and meet some new little faces too. They all had fun with Steve the stretchy band , moving to the music and working together. Although I think some (staff!) were hoping for the new prop but they are coming next week!! Easing everyone back in gently! 👍😂

💚 Then this afternoon it was back at The Albert Pye Primary with my KS1 dance club. This week it was all about D.I.S.C.O 🕺🪩. They learnt a whole disco dance and boogied their socks off!!

New prop alert and I'm so excited! 🥁

This term I'm going to be introducing my Boogie Batons!! Inspired by Danny Go and his Boom sticks (pool noodles). I felt these would be too big so after a lot of research I've made my own, that are smaller and perfect for little hands! I did make a big purple pair for me though!

There are a lot of different prop options out there but I always want to use age suitable equipment (most commercially available things are only suitable for 3 years +) that are not only fun, but safe and spark creativity. I also like to come up with my own ideas!💡

I think the children (and grown ups!) are going to have lots of fun with these and what a great foundation for improving their rhythm.

I get the feeling it won't just be Pre Schoolers that will love them!! 😀

We hope you have all had a lovely Easter weekend ✝️🐣🐰.

We had our annual Good Friday garden day of planting the veg and having a good tidy up! This year we added in the project of giving Flopsy bunny🐰 a new mansion🏠! We upcycled the playhouse as the children have outgrown it and turned it into a bunny palace! We took out the windows and replaced them using the net of her old run along with reusing her ramp and doors from her hutch to make a hidey house. We also upcycled the rest of the hutch netting to cover and protect the veg! Genius 💡!

We can now report back that Flopsy very much likes her new abode and her Easter Egg 🥚!

We even managed to fit in making chocolate nests 🪺 another Easter tradition!

We can also report that the Easter Bunny visited yesterday and all eggs have been safely found and sampled! 😋🤣

Not a relaxing Easter hols but definitely a fun one! 😀

Just back from another amazing party 💜! This time it was celebrating 2 gorgeous little dudes birthdays, Romeo turning 5 and Tayo 4! 🥳

We all had lots of fun playing lots of games, dancing and even the grown ups got involved with the giant parachute!! 🙌

Wow! What another amazing trip to London💂. We had bought our baby girl tickets to see Wicked 💚 for her birthday but we also surprised her with a Wicked themed afternoon tea ☕🫖before the show! The hotel was beautiful and the food was so delicious 😋. The children were just blown away by the musical and were suitably impressed and surprised by the ending 😉🤐!

Our second day we surprised them with a visit to the Paradox museum. This was such a fun thing to do with so many great photo opportunities (which as you can imagine we just loved! 😂). The rest of the day was enjoying the beautiful weather 😎 with a stroll through Hyde park followed by lots of shopping and just taking in the sights.

What a wonderful trip! 💚🩷

We had a fab time today celebrating little Oliver's 6th 🎈🎂! Oliver and all his friends and family had fun popping bubbles 🫧, doing the limbo, hula hooping and we just had to do a penalty shootout for this football loving little man!⚽

Happy 14th birthday to our gorgeous boy🥳. What an awesome dude you are!

Birthday today but the birthday trip was on Sunday. We surprised him by going to see the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. We did both parts in one day and it was absolutely amazing! Beautiful theatre, amazing seats, fantastic cast and the most magical effects! 🧙‍♂️🪄An extremely long day but totally worth it!

Now time for cake! Only one design I needed to make for our book loving boy 📚📖😍

So that's it for another term and what a wonderful (and extremely busy) term it's been!

It's been a pleasure to visit all your settings and schools and dance with all the fabulous tiny humans and work with amazing teams! 🥰

♥️ Worlingham Pre School had lots of fun dancing and singing this morning. They also were amazing at the stepping stones activity, looking at stepping safely, looking out for each other, colours and sharing! ⭕

♥️ This afternoon at Beccles Primary Academy it was performance time! My street dance class was fabulous with their glow sticks routine. So proud of them all!

♥️ Victoria Pre School had lots of fun dancing with the rainbow rings 🌈.

☀️ Sunbeams had a great time with Pete the parachute!

🐝 Beehive Day Nursery had a lovely time balancing the bean bags.

💚 Albert Pye KS1 dance club had a hoe down! This week we danced to Cotton Eyed Joe 😂, Yeehaw! 🤠

I also received a beautiful card from my dance festival students ♥️ which is just so lovely. Thank you guys 😊.

Happy Mother's Day to the most caring and Fun Mummy on the planet! Also Happy 12th birthday to our gorgeous baby girl! 🥳

Both these beautiful ladies are the kindest souls and are always thinking of others (they have already been to the theatre this morning to help break down after the shows)

Another very long but fabulous day yesterday.

🎒 Worlingham Pre School had lots of fun dancing, singing and moving with the rainbow rings. 🌈

☀️Sunbeams had a great session and did really well with the agility hoops! ⭕

♥️ Beccles Primary Academy worked really hard finishing their street dance routine ready for their performance next week! The glow sticks look amazing! 🙌

🌙 Then it was chaperoning for opening night with the WLOG Rising Stars and they smashed it! 💪🙌So proud of our baby girl 🩷

Wow, wow, wow, what a day and what a night!!

♥️ Victoria Pre School had great fun with the bean bags this morning. Some great balancing and some fabulous dancing!

🐝 Beehive Day Nursery were just awesome with the scarves today. Dancing, moving and some brilliant throwing and catching too!

💚 Back at Albert Pye for a KS1 dance club! This term we are going to be looking at different genres of music/styles of dance.Tonight it was street dance, word 👊😂 I also received a lovely card 💜

Then it was back to the Marina Theatre for the second night of the dance festival. My Worlingham Primary School troupe were just amazing and I'm so proud of them all. They performed 2 routines. The first was a street dance number inspired by the Alex Rider and James Bond 🔦 books and the second, a lyrical dance inspired by the book Forrest Gump🪶 written by Winston Groom.
