This photo!! 🥰 just stunning of O as she arrived at her wedding. Her bridal bouquet of white flowers with just a dot of green from the stems of the scented sweet peas complimented her dress perfectly.

🌟 Statement ceremony flowers 🌟

Beautiful, wilder styled flower columns created a fabulous focal point at the top of the flower lined aisle. This gave colour, decoration and extra beauty through the whole ceremony space that was then moved to decorate F&G’s wedding breakfast.

✨ Statement urns ✨

Urn arrangements are one of my favourites for impactful, movable designs. They can frame ceremonies and then become a welcome to guests at your reception, they can start out decorating your meal and then welcome people to the dance floor. They can even change venues. A hugely versatile option and one that works particularly brilliantly in period venues such as here in .

All my designs are foam free, meaning that no highly polluting single use plastics are used in the mechanics of the design. I can use these urns on two types of point meaning the height can be varied to best suit your venue. All of my wedding and civil partnership designs are bespoke to you and your venue/s. 💫 Statement arrangements 💫

These flower columns made a beautiful entrance to H&R’s wedding reception. Autumnal, but not bright orange. These striking designs made a real impact in the space and are a perfect choice for a modern feel of wedding flower design.

When designing flowers, it’s really important to me that my clients the most beautiful wedding they can for their budget. As such, I often recommend arrangements that can be moved about. This lovely box of flowers started out on the registrar table at the ceremony venue and then moved to the bar at the reception venue. It was designed to work in both sites, be easy for the couple’s friends to move for them, and to of course add colour, decoration and beauty to both spaces.

When designing your flowers I will always advise where I think your budget will be best spent to give the most impactful designs. This box of flowers worked hard, and using it in both venues not only kept us within budget, but meant we were buying flowers thoughtfully that would be enjoyed all day long.

C&J’s flowers were joyous to create. Such vibrant, happy colours and all the different textures and shapes that June has to offer. This was at the very end of peony season and their gorgeous ruffles certainly stole the show in this bouquet.

F&G chose a beautiful mix of colours for their late summer wedding day. Pastelly toned peaches, pinks, and lilac amongst whites and fresh greens created a warm yet soft colour palette that was elegant, romantic and fun all at the same time.

This bouquet smelt beautiful with the inclusion of garden roses and had a lovely lightness and just the right amount of dancing stems to give movement and keep it looking very natural.

K&R chose a timeless white and green colour palette for their spring wedding last year. I selected a variety of different spring flowers and combined them with delicate green foliages to give different tones and textures. This natural bouquet was light yet impactful and really spoke of the time of year. I loved making it almost as much as I love this photo. Just beautiful!

🏡 My Christmas wreath from last year got a lot of love on stories yesterday 🏡

One of my favourite things about weddings or civil partnerships is the outpouring of love show on these special days not just to partners, but to friends and family. It’s so lovely to see a small glimpse of that when I deliver the personal flowers to their recipients. There’s always so much joy in the air. I like to think of bridesmaid or best peoples’ flowers as small tokens of appreciation and a commemoration of special relationships. Whether they be bouquets, boutonnières, corsages or flower crowns… they’re a little mark of love.

Congratulations to H&T who married yesterday. I loved working with you on this brief of white and green flowers with touches of peaches, oranges and reds. Such a modern, classy look!

The first of the scented geranium is in here too… one of my favourite foliages for texture and scent. And the first of the dahlia! A gorgeous, seasonal bouquet.

Here C is with her bouquet last year. Full of the best of the start of July in a beautiful pastel-ly palette of blues, lilacs, pinks and whites. I will never tire of seeing flowers out in the wild, fulfilling their role to help make these most special of days.

🌈 A nice big vase of flowers 🌈

One of my favourite requests is a nice big vase of flowers! They’re simple yet impactful and can be moved around easily.

This beauty (and its partner) travelled from the church ceremony to the reception venue, and was then positioned for the wedding breakfast and the dance floor afterwards. A super versatile choice!

Behind the scenes for day 22 of #marchmeettheflorist When it’s too cold or late to be down in the garage I take over the kitchen! I took this video in the early hours ahead of my Mother’s Day bouquet deliveries. Bouquets lined up for loading first thing, and some still to be wrapped queued up on the sides. A lot of floristry is behind the scenes... the research, proposals, the vision, the buying, conditioning, arranging, the wrapping... then voila the finished thing! 1st March... another beautifully sunny afternoon here in Beckenham and it really feels as though spring might just be here (almost!). The crocuses are in flower in my garden and the other bulbs are all growing well. And I just can't get enough of these spring blooms in my Mother's Day bouquets. All of the colour is bringing me so much joy, and I hope will bring the same to your mums, grandmas and mother figures for Mother's Day.
