A huge thank you to Thornton Steward village institute for inviting us back for a wreath making session… talk about the weather throwing it all at us… Storm Darragh building up to a crescendo as we were leaving! Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks…. ( me, not Jean!) Jean had cut and made circles of willow as bases… which, when mossed, got fuller and bigger… and bigger…..seemed quicker too…next year think we’ll look into that! A sideline for us, maybe…making willow circles… ready for next Christmas… have a look at the pictures and tell us what you think….

Second day of wreath making at the Garden rooms at Tennants…..pretty amazing wreaths were made…26 girls and one little baby boy ( he was so good) …. Tomorrow we’ve got 28 ….its beginning to feel a little bit Christmassy and Tennants is looking so festive…

Quite an edgy journey to The Garden Rooms - for our first wreath workshop today… about five inches of snow and just carried on snowing … came to an icy stop… had to be rescued by a dashing chap from Tennants …transfer mountains of materials into his car…. 9 brave ladies managed to get there… supposed to be 23…a huge thank you to Gemma and Sam….☃️☃️⛄️⛄️⛄️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️Had enough of you STORM BERT…

Let it snow… let it snow…our first Christmas wreath making, at Tennants, in a few days..and we’re quite looking forward to cold frosty weather (dare I say, even a little snow) especially as we’ll be warm and cosy in the gorgeous Garden Rooms….makes the atmosphere for our workshops even more Christmassy!
