If you have a keen interest in flowers, arranging flowers or would like to start a career in floristry this day will be perfect for you!
Firstly we will get to know each other and talk more about what you will be achieving on this day! This will be a small group setting in our beautiful shop!

Wondering what you will be learning & making? ....

🌿How to condition flowers & how to care for them.
🌿How to make a hand tied bouquet
🌿How to make a hat box arrangement
🌿How to make a table Arrangement
🌿How to make a sustainable summer wreath
🌿How to make a vase arrangement

You will be taught how to arrange each arrangement by a professional florist & get to take your master pieces home with you

All experiences welcome, if you have never tried floristry before and would love to gain a new skill or if you wanted to improve your floristry skills!

Here’s what to expect when you book The Wild Orchid as your Wedding Florist… 💍💒

You can either Dm us, phone us on 01443 802145 or send a enquiry form through our website! If you could let us know your wedding date, venue, time any floral requirements!

Consultation 🌸

We will organise either an in person consultation or a phone call to discuss further requirements - colours, styles, items and of course budget! We will work with you to accommodate your floral goals! With this said.. we will advise and be realistic with budgets & floral choices. 🌿

Quote 🌼

We will then create a custom quote with all floral details based on your consultation to ensure you’re happy that I’ve understood your vision. On the quotation it will highlight costs, particular flowers that will be used in the bouquet & arrangements and also down to the colour ribbon used!

Making it secure 🌺

If you’re happy with the quote that we’ve provided, I will send over a contract and then a deposit will secure your chosen date. We only take on one wedding a day, so once the deposit has been made the date is yours! 😍 You will be added to our Wedding Calendar! 🌸

Lead up to your big day 💒

If you have any questions or want to make changes on the lead up to your wedding we will be happy to discuss or send photos of requirements! We will also discuss times on when I will be delivering your wedding florals on the day. Closer to the wedding, we will have a final meeting to confirm all details are correct and you’re happy!

On your Wedding day, I will be in touch to say I’m on my way. I will hand deliver your bouquets to you in person and if any setting up that is needed and bring your floral vision to life! 🩷

🌿 We’ve had quite a lot of new followers recently and It’s been ages since I introduced myself!

I’m Emily the face behind The Wild Orchid Florist, I’m the one behind the messages and the whole production of the florist, also joined by florist Maddie 🩷
The Wild Orchid name came from my love of wild flowers and wild bouquet styles and I love Orchid’s (I find them so classy & and a statement piece )

When I was planning my wedding 9 years ago I found a real interest in flowers and choosing the flowers I loved! So this drove me to follow my dream of becoming a florist. So I embarked on a floristry course that I studied in for two years 🌿

I firstly started making bouquets & arrangements for family & friends in fresh & artificial flowers. I was then lucky enough to have the opportunity to work in a florist where I could gain experience and techniques that I’m extremely grateful for and loved my time in this florist 🤍 Was then promoted to Wedding Coordinator and loved organising and making the whole experience a day to remember for the couple, I then decided to gain more experience and was offered a job in another florist closer to home, I learnt so much and loved my time within this florist 🤍

I’ve gained so much experience over the years within these two amazing florists, I decided to go on my own and create my own business as a florist in 2023 🌿

The Wild Orchid Florist has grown from strength to strength over the last year and I’m so proud of what it’s become. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us since opening. I pride myself on perfection & organisation and bringing modern floristry to my local area and surrounding areas. I love showing my skills and bringing happiness to those special occasions, if that’s a birthday, a special occasion, a funeral for a loved one or a wedding.
