It is with heavy heart that I write this post this morning, but with personal issues and the cost of inflation I’m afraid I will be not be planning birthday sleepover parties anymore under Bear and Owl Parties. I would just like to take this time to thank all of the local suppliers and companies I have personally worked with and got to know on a personal level as well as naturally the customers and children I have been lucky enough to work with to bring their vision to life. As a member to this amazing gym I have been notified that they are doing amazing this for local and worthwhile charities. Please read this statement from Sarah (who works very hard at the gym) to explain what they are trying to achieve. If you are able to donate please let me know before you go and donate your items so that I can let the staff know ☺️
At work Energie fitness Bedford in The Harpur centre (downstairs) , I'm not just the sales manager that creates colourful plans and hope myself and the team strive for our target.

In October and November, I had 2 meetings, short and brief but enough for us to come together, as the community gym we are at Energie fitness Bedford, and arranged 2 collections this year.

1st collection is for the children's ward at Bedford Hospital , I took myself and Andrea Wolczenko-Brown to Bedford hospitals and we spoke to both managers of the ward, who before we could even finish our proposal, they were very happy and said yes!! As well as inviting myself and one other colleague back down to deliver the presents, we are collecting from 30th November - 23rd December (9am).

* please wrap the gift, and label with suitable age range and gender.

And the 2nd , is a food collection for , they are local Charity in Bedford, who run a food bank, but call this their food larder, no questions asked, no vouchers need to be shown, no eligibility needs to justified, because everyone has a story. We are collecting long life food goods from 30th November - 22nd December (10am) on the 21st December we will be collecting fresh produce. IMPAKT don't just take food goods, they include house hold items, male and female hygiene products, as well as baby nappies etc.

For both of these collections, you do not have to be a member, please just drop me a message, if you wish to donate to either 😊 🤍

As some of you know, my mum (bless her!) is a big help behind the scenes here at HQ, whether it’s to set up or set down a party, or even helping out at events and today is her birthday 🥳 which means it’s her retirement day today too! What an absolute pleasure it was to set up this mix & match themes for 2 siblings. Safe to say I don’t think much sleep will be had tonight! 😜😂😂

We had such an amazing time at Creams today. They are located in Bedfordshire high street (near Barclays Bank) If you haven’t already tried them then please check them out! The team are so friendly and the service is A+. The children loved it here and will definitely be back again!
