Introducing Signore e Signora Shirley….

…celebrating their one week anniversary today after the most epic wedding in Puglia, Italy.

This was a particularly special one for me as I’ve grown up visiting my Italian family here, and never could have imagined that one day I’d be creating the most spectacular weddings here.

It was January 2019 when I first met with Nicola and her bridesmaids in her mum’s kitchen. The next day, Nicola and Josh booked me to plan and deliver their wedding in Mallorca the following summer.

When the unforeseen happened and we postponed the date to July 2021, we rested on our laurels that the Mallorca dream was still in sight.

However, with 12 weeks to go, head had to rule over heart, and when I suggested a beautiful hidden gem of a wedding venue I knew of, N & J immediately fell in love with the charm of and so I got to work as we changed plans to keep the wedding local.

It turns out some things do happen for a reason. Yesterday, I had the absolute honour of delivering the ceremony for a couple I have grown to call friends. Despite nightmare forecasts, the sun peeped out and it was perfect balmy weather. They have the most wonderful group of friends and family who made the day as much fun for all us suppliers as they did for the happy couple.

Nicola and Josh, thank you for inviting me to be part of your special day. It’s really been a journey and I’ll miss our spreadsheets and zoom calls!

Here’s to you Mr & Mrs Myall- you really deserved the most fantastic day! 🥂
