We would like to announce as we have before that we do not offer balloon releases
We run a hedgehog rescue as well as the balloons and treats and we see so many poorly animals as a release of balloons, lanterns, wire, netting……… the list goes on
So 4 years ago we made the decision not to offer balloon releases
The release of sky lanterns or balloons is viewed as littering under the Environmental Protection Act (1990), which makes it an offence to deposit litter in public places.

Today we had a call to do some free balloons for a release for a deceased.
We didn’t get chance to say why we wouldn’t do it as I was given a negative response and phone put down on me

We only have the animals at heart and apologise if this offends anyone that we would not offer this service
