📢 A Year of Achievements at Bedworth Civic Hall CIO! 🎉🎂

One year ago, the Charity Commission approved the creation of Bedworth Civic Hall CIO, and what a year it’s been!

Here’s some of what we’ve accomplished together over the past 12 months:

✅ Raised over £250,000 to reopen and support our business plan to stay open (with utilities in the hundreds of thousands)
✅ Carried out work to reopen the building and secure the future, including filling 9 large skips!
✅ Created footfall helping local businesses with more customers and putting money into the local economy by buying local products and services
✅ Welcomed over 20,000 visitors
✅ Sold 16,000 tickets for incredible shows.
✅ Hosted numerous community events.
✅ Given over 27,000 volunteer hours back to our community.
✅ Begun fundraising for a new Sound and Lighting desk
✅ Started plans for our 2030 vision and goals
✅ Secured money to employ a Volunteer Co-ordinator to reach out and organise the hundreds of amazing people who want to volunteer
✅ Expanded our Civic Hall Family, welcoming St John’s Ambulance, PR Productions, All Saints Youth Club, and many more!

And we’re just getting started! 🎭✨
We’re already booking shows for 2027, and we have so much more planned for the future.

💪 Bedworth Civic Hall is here to stay!
This success is only possible because of our dedicated volunteers and the incredible community that supports us.

To give our volunteers a well earned rest Bedworth Civic Hall is now closed from Tuesday, 24 December to 11am on Saturday 11th January when the in person box office will reopen from 11am to 2pm on Saturdays. We will also be using January to carry out essential works ready for our first shows of 2025 in February.

Today was our last pantomime of the season.

Thank you to PR Productions for an amazing show, to everyone who bought tickets, who supported reopening, and all the volunteers who ensured we could be here to welcome 10,000+ visitors in December. You are all part of our Civic Hall family.
