What a wonderful way to spend my 40th birthday, doing what I love!
I got to perform the first wedding at Portrush's newest venue for two people who were just a dream come true. They built their own wedding from scratch, not just physically, but also working alongside me to create their perfect, bespoke ceremony full of love, laughter and the occasional rain cloud! I have the privilege of marrying some of the most wonderful people on this island. As a Humanist and...well decent human being I want you to know I am a safer space. I never say safe because I do not shy away from the knowledge I am always learning and growing. Correct me, give me feedback..I will never see it as a chore to respect who someone is. In these dark times for so many, know that my door is open and I am proud to marry any loving couple no matter who you are.

To those suffering discrimination for your colour, identity, orientation, neuro-divergency... You are loved. X

Massive congratulations to and her partner .kabir on making it official last weekend in the beautiful grounds of . Every detail was perfect..right down to this handcrafted handfasting ribbon made by the bride's sister! Surrounded by laughter, love and family tou could feel the well wishes all around.This ceremony was so personal and meaningful right down to the kids sharing their Irish speaking talents.

I feel very honoured to have been a part of their day.
