Noise prevails.

Thanks to everyone who came down last night and made this show a reality. We’re grateful for you all sticking with us amidst quite a challenging gig timeline - you’ve been brilliant.

Props to Hybrid Frequency, Optic Chain and the force of nature that is Nailbreaker - class sets all round and we’ve been really happy to host this.

Dundalk, that was brilliant. Thank you all for coming down and making this show a success. It’s great to see yet another Irish scene not just thriving, but willing to expand creatively and sonically. This won’t be the last of us.

Thanks to The Band - Horrenda, Unmaker, Sacred Noose and Luxury Mollusc for coming down and churning out quality sets, and thanks to Toales for putting faith in us and helping to make this happen.

Our next show is a private gig on Thursday October 12th in Belfast with Nailbreaker, Optic Chain and Hybrid Frequency. Ample noise awaits. Message for details.

KNIFEDOUTOFEXISTENCE & GEHEIMNISKNECHT OCTOBER TOUR

Pleased to announce Knifedoutofexistence will be touring in October with Geheimnisknecht, a new project from Richard Carson of Unyielding Love that incorporates elements of dungeon synth, harsh noise and black metal.

Other than one more show to be announced for December, these will almost certainly be the final Knifed shows of the year. Not played some of these places in a long time, some never. Looking forward to seeing people, come hangout. More info on each show soon.

Now that the dust is settling, we’d like to thank everyone who came down yesterday. Gravity Well, Asphyxiation, Sacred Noose and Optic Chain all put up strong sets and it’s great to have a scene which appreciates both the weird and the heavy at the same time. This is Vitriol’s mission and there’ll be plenty more of it to come.

Thanks to Slapped for having faith in our vision and Jonny McKee (and crew) for supporting in bringing the sonic heft.

We’re holding our first show in conjunction with Slapped Promotions in Tribes. Plenty of riffs and cans (BYOB) to suit. We’re debuting two new acts, Sacred Noose who will be playing cavernous, ugly dissonant death metal and Optic Chain debuting a series of harsh noise soundscapes. Gravity Well and Asphyxiation also feature in what is set to be a rather hectic night.
