🌟 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: RICS🌟

Our relationship with RICS spans over 25 years, and includes managing PR activity in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as well as supporting UK wide activity, such as the prestigious RICS UK awards.

We recently managed the PR activity for the awards across all UK regions and nationally. This involved managing and planning PR activity for the shortlist, regional awards ceremonies, and the Grand Final in London.

At JComms, we’re proud to be active members of Chartered Institute of Public Relations and it has been a busy few months connecting with the PR community and engaging in continuous professional development.

Our team has attended several "Meet the Media" events, the CIPR AGM and winter social, and CIPR’s joint event with PRCA NI, PRess: Past, Present, and Future.

Last week, one of our colleagues at JComms attended the CIPR Annual Conference in London. The conference delved into how shifting political landscapes are impacting public relations. 🙌🏼

On Friday night, we celebrated the fantastic talent and innovation in Northern Ireland's IT sector at the Belfast Telegraph IT Awards 2024. It was an incredible night that showcased the remarkable achievements of individuals and companies pushing the boundaries of technology and digital transformation.

Last week, some of our team took part in theruninthedark at Stormont Estate in support of the Mark Po***ck Trust.

Run in the Dark is a global movement, with over 25,000 people across the world taking part in 50 cities with Belfast being one of the six flagship events.

All funds went to collaborativecures whose mission is to bring people together to cure paralysis in our lifetime.

Congratulations to all who took part to raise money for this very worthwhile cause! 👏🏃‍♂️🏅

Last Wednesday marked the opening night of the Belfast International Arts Festival 2024.🎭

Yesterday, some of our team at JComms took part in the 5k Pink Run on Titanic Slipways, in aid of Cancer Focus Northern Ireland

The run takes place in October to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the money raised will help to support local women and families on their breast cancer journey including counselling, family support, bra fittings, and specialist support groups.

Well done to everyone who took part and raised money towards a very good cause! 🎀

What a busy few months at JComms! 🎉 We kicked things off with a team trip to the Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge. We celebrated the launch of our purpose, mission, vision and values with a trip to Prison Island. We also celebrated our colleague Jane Williams on a special birthday! 🎂

This week, to mark World Mental Health Day today, we welcomed NI Chest, Heart and Stroke for wellbeing checks for our team!

Rising stars from across the business community in Northern Ireland were last night celebrated at the inaugural Insider Northern Ireland Young Professionals Awards. The event recognised leading professionals aged 35 and under across a range of sectors at the event in the Titanic Museum.

We were delighted that our colleague Orry Robinson won the Young PR, Marketing and Media Professional of the Year category for his outstanding work for his clients and commitment to his profession! A huge well done Orry from everyone at JComms! And well done to all of the winners!
