McEvoys Tea Rooms - The Park Bench
Started out as the park bench deli 62 Woodvale Road on 4th July 2018 we had an extensive menu along with our outside catering and were kept busy with great returning custom.

Me Wanting a change from 7 day week and endless cooking & a stressful food delivery service we decided in January 2024 to become a tearoom with a little gift shop,
Hence the name changes to McEvoys tearooms.
Then we found ourselves on the move to new premises the kitchen space was our real incentive for the move as we never gave up the outside event catering to number 26 Woodvale Road (9 doors) 🙈 .
So now we are going 6.5 good years in total.
And although we do not serve the same extensive menu as the PBD did , we still have quite a lot of delicious homemade food on our menu to offer our customers.

We don't do daily delivery other than outside catering deliveries.
We do not open on Sundays.

So I hope this answers all the questions we get.
Why did we change our name?
Why did we move?
Why did we stop doing deliveries?

We are still the same family business that the PBD was we are still serving great food still doing outside catering plus our retail end of things .
I simply wanted more work/ life balance.

So wee look forward as always to another year of old and new customers
