✨ An Engaging Evening at the ADS Annual Dinner! ✨

The ADS Annual Dinner is a highly anticipated event that brings together leading companies within the UK’s Aerospace, Defence, Security, and Space sectors for an unforgettable evening of networking.

Attended by our Managing Director, Jackie Logan, the event featured insightful speeches from Rt Hon John Healey MP, the Secretary of State for Defence, and the formidable former Conservative politician Penny Mordaunt. Ms Mordaunt spoke about the UK’s need to enhance strategic investment and policy to compete globally, the importance of maintaining regulatory autonomy, and independent trade policies. The conversation touched on sustainability, biosecurity, and the critical need for a strong US-UK alliance, and she called for a collective willpower to drive industrial capability and ensure democracy's survival.

Jackie also had the opportunity to meet and speak with Gavin Robinson MP, discussing key industry challenges and upcoming opportunities.

🚀 Yesterday, our Managing Director, Jackie Logan attended the ADS Special Interest Group briefing, chaired by NI SPACE Cluster Manager, Robert Hill.

During the event, leading figures from Northern Ireland's dynamic space sector and ADS discussed the opportunities for the sector including Farnborough International Space Show (FISS) in March 2025 and the In-Orbit Servicing, Assembly and Manufacturing (ISAM) Conference which will take place in June 2025 in Belfast.

Key speakers shared compelling insights into groundbreaking advancements in satellite deployment, emerging technologies, and collaborative cluster initiatives.

Highlights included AAC Clyde Space’s impressive achievement of deploying over 35 satellites, exciting opportunities through the ADS Space Team, and strategic preparations for FISS 2025. 🚀

It was also good to hear from The Strategic Investment Board on the many SBRIs including where three companies are collectively developing satellite technology and data that could be used to improve the detection and monitoring of blue green algae in Lough Neagh.

It is fantastic to see Northern Ireland's burgeoning space sector continue to grow and innovate on the global stage!

🧰 Developing our Life Skills

Recently, the NAKEDPR team came together for an incredibly valuable two-day Emergency First Aid course delivered by Helen from Goody Training Solutions.

During the course, we gained practical, hands-on life-saving skills in resuscitation and defibrillation, and learned how to deal with other minor injuries, equipping us with the crucial skills of a first aider 🚨

Everyone passed the course with flying colours! And whilst we hope we will never have to use the skills that we learned, we now have the confidence to make a difference in the event of a situation occurring!

A big thank you to Goody Training Solutions for making such an important training session both engaging and memorable. 👏

📸 An Inspiring Morning at The Gallaher Trust and Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Making a Difference (MAD) Business Breakfast event!

Our MD, Jackie Logan and Account Manager, Nicola Mulligan were at the Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena yesterday, where a number of businesses, social enterprises, charities and not-for-profit organisations came together to hear about the fantastic work of our client, The Gallaher Trust and its delivery partners. Established in 2017, The Gallaher Trust is an independent charity which supports job creation and skills development and assists disadvantaged adults in the Ballymena area.

We’ve been helping to plan this event for a few weeks now and it was great to see it finally come to fruition and to engage with so many representatives from across different industries. 👏

The Gallaher Trust Makes a Difference with Business Breakfast Event 👏

Our client, The Gallaher Trust, is partnering with Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry to host the Making a Difference (MAD) Business Breakfast event, showcasing how local partnerships can transform lives! 🤝
