The Mount Charles Group was initially founded in 1988 by owner and Chairman Trevor Annon as a catering company. More than 25 years later and employing over 1200 people, it is now one of Ireland’s largest indigenous support service organisations, providing

a range of services including catering, vending and cleaning.

“The company has grown organically over time by working in partnership with our clients.” comments Trevor. “It was a natural progression for us to extend our services in line with their changing needs- passing on the cost saving and productivity benefits of working with one single supply partner. As a local company, we have an innate knowledge and understanding of our clients’ organisations and what is important to them that the big international branded companies cannot so easily offer. For example, 85% of our fresh produce is sourced from growers and producers in Northern Ireland so, when we say we use local produce, you know exactly what that means! The Mount Charles group now supports some of the most prestigious organisations in Northern Ireland and has clients from across the business & industry, healthcare, education and retail sectors. It is our intention to go on growing as they grow, extending our range of services and the reach of our market place to ensure we continue to provide innovative and cost effective solutions to meet and exceed their needs. 🥳 We are delighted to announce this month’s SHINE and TASTE award winners for ROI, who were recently presented with their certificates by our Chair, Trevor Annon.

⭐Tony Talbot, Mobile Chef, was nominated for his TASTE award by Senior Ops Manager, Chris Telford who had this to say about his team member “What can I say about Tony! Tony has been with us for years. Every event we have in NI he travels up for. He decided he wanted to stay with MC when we finished up on another contract and is now a mobile chef. He would think nothing of travelling a 3 hour round trip to cover chef. He always goes above and beyond and gives 100% he is totally team Mount Charles.”

⭐Zuzana Fabryova, Area Manager nominated Cleaning Operative, Vana Cristina De Souza and commented “The reason for this nomination is Vana Cristina’s hard work and dedication. I only hear good things about her, which within the cleaning business is sometimes hard to come by. The client and staff in NSSO couldn’t be happier. She is very organised and has good relationship with everyone in NSSO. She has been with us from the start of the contract, and everyone loves her.”
