THE ART OF DEEP CONNECTION
They will be performing an exclusive preview of their album material at No28 ahead of their album recording at Steve Winwood’s studio the following week. This is a chance to hear brand new music as it is being created! Their dynamic acoustic duo weaves a path through Nicaraguan traditional music fused with elements of jazz and world music.

Large hearts or Balls
On this willow workshop you will learn how to make a large 3d heart forms or a sphere/ball. You will loose yourself in the random weave technique, to create the shape. It is a very mindful practice and one of my favourites. Good for all abilities.

Ducky!
Make your very own Runner Duck.!! Over the day we will be learning how to create a solid framework and then apply the random technique of weaving.
We shall be using a few different colour willows which will enhance the look of the duck and also give you the experience of using different varieties of willow.
You will be all following my instructions to make similar shapes but there will be chance to give it your own stamp of creativity too. Suitable for all levels.

Language Soiree call out: Ukranian, Mandarin, Thai speakers/learners: Thurs 06 March.
The next Language Soiree isn't until Thurs 06 March, but in the meantime this is a call-out for native speakers and learners of all ability for potential Ukrainian, Mandarin, Thai and (the elusive) Polish tables. We have had enquiries for all of these, so do get in touch to let us know if you are interested in chatting in these languages and that you will come along on the night.
Generally, just come along - no need to book - there are always French, German, Italian and Spanish tables, but best to contact us if you are interested in any other language.
If you come and there's no-one wanting to speak your chosen language, you get your money back.
Half price entry for under 18s and FREE entry for native speakers of the language that they have come to speak!

Make sure to take along that item you have been meaning to get repaired, or just drop in for coffee and cake!
Has your favourite iron broken? Would you like to have a go at trying to repair it yourself but have no idea where to start?
Bring your broken items to the repair cafe on Saturday January 25th at No28, open between 10 and 1 and we will show you how to go about it.. booking not necessary, just turn up and you will be allocated a time slot..
N.B. Repairs will be allocated a time slot upon arrival. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment!
