I know we are not supposed to have favourite clients but this is what happens when you work with simplybetter on a host of projects for a well known company. Outstanding working relationships, clear lines of communication, regular updates and a professional team as well. This time we were in Birmingham for the Euronics Expo. Amazing looking stand and some delicious foods to include BBQ brisket burnt ends, peach Margaritas, warmed potato salad with a pea, mint and pomegranate dressing and of course the Eton mess ice cream made in the new Creami machines.

Thai spiced, twice cooked salmon fillets with a spicy green Thai curry sauce served with Jasmine scented sticky rice, this was then followed by a citrus tart with fresh fruits and a mango coulis or gluten free brownies with fresh strawberries and a mango coulis with a shot glass of homemade chocolate milkshake.

The perfect mains and desserts to accompany the starters. All served by ourselves and some amazing help from the clients team. I'm really looking forward to the next event already.

First we started with a whole pork belly, then we took off a giant rack of ribs, we then soaked the pork belly in a soy and Chinese spice marinade and will leave for 12 hours to really soak through before smoking for 12 hours. We then marinated the rack of ribs in our house Chipotle BBQ sauce and will then smoke this bad boy for a further 6 hours. Once the pork belly is done we will send that with the brisket to this weekends client and will also send the rack of ribs to the same client as an extra treat from us. So they can he enjoyed at the clients leisure. For this kind of service and level of value for money, just get in touch for a chat and a quote anytime.

It has already been a crazy start to the year. With over a dozen TV shoots and commercials and too many corporate events to count. But we wanted to put a special thanks out to the team at Wadham College University of Oxford for their amazing Wadstock, where we were invited to feed 850 leaving students whilst surrounded by some amazing people and amazing music. We look forward to doing it again next year. There are only a few spaces left for this year's diary so get in touch if you have an event you wish us to cater for.

It’s finally here, the event of the season, the only festival worth attending this year. IAEC are hosting this years food villages both for the daytime and the after dark village.
From Mr Magorium sweet imporium to Chilli republic”s chilli bar served in their unique fire engine. We have got it all covered.
