I was asked to make a personal flower tribute for a very dear friend of my MIL .
The brief was ..it HAD to be purple and leopard print . 💜
It was A slight challenge to get heavy velvety material to stand up like a collar even when it’s wet !! But I succeeded and this as the result . White roses and gyp were preserved with purple flower paint with a few lisianthus and chrysanthemums randomly added . Putting the heart on a stand meant this gorgeous small tribute could be viewed well inside the carriage . (Horse and carriage) . 💜🐴
10 days on and I’m told the flowers still look fresh 👌 helped by the fact I only use the freshest flowers and the preserving nature of the purple paint . 💜

Had the pleasure of making this beauty for my God daughter for my dearest friend Judith . She wanted the best for her mum and asked me to glitter the roses and include some of her favourite chocolates , so I added 3 boxes worth of strawberry Lindor chocolates to this huge arrangement .. should keep her going for a couple of weeks …. 🤣 🍬 🌹🍬🌹🍬🌹🍬🌹🍬🌹🍬🌹🍬🌹🍬🌹🍬🌹🍬

Happy Mother’s Day to you all .. 🌹🌺and thanks to all my lovely customers and friends for your orders .. I’ve loved making your arrangements and seeing the smiles of joy on so many faces ❤️ . Apologies to all those I had to turn away .. but there are only so many I can physically get made . Xx

… but id like to share a thought for all those , like me , who can’t spoil their mums and tell them they love them or hug them . It really can be a bitter sweet day when our kids want to spoil us … but we are feeling overwhelmed with sadness for a mum who is no longer with us.😢

So thank you for keeping me busy and letting me know how much your mums loved their flowers .. you have no idea how much that keeps me going on a day where I can’t spoil my own mum . Xx 🌺🌹
