Tickets now on sale for Benfleet Christmas Enchanted Forest 2024 scavenger hunt. 14th and 15th December - Benfleet . The event in its 3rd year is run by the local community hall and youth charity and last year sold out 800 tickets!

The youngsters and volunteers are busy crafting our new displays and we love hosting the event and hope the community will come out again to support us whilst having a great time.

NEWS - LAUNCH OF FLUTE SECTION ! EMC are looking for young people who already play a flute (of any standard) to launch our new flute section. New members already with an instrument and some playing experience can start with EMC on 1st July 2024. We are also then taking names for our beginner waiting list for those who would like a free loan instrument to start on 9th September.

Flutes carry lots of fun melodies, learn to play as part of a growing 40 piece marching band, perform at events over the county, take part in social events, attend workshops and activities whilst also making friends with other like-minded musician friends.

Mondays 5.30- 7.30pm - for those playing under grade 3
Mondays 6.30-8.30pm - for those playing above grade 3

Minimum age - 8years old - no max. Average age at EMC is 13 years old.

Rookery View Hall - Watlington Road Benfleet, SS7 5DT
Subs - £14 per month (free if on free school meals) includes loan of uniform, free attendance to social events.

Drop us a personal message to either join our improvers on 1st July or Beginners on 9th September. We can then add you to the info group for start date.
