Welcome to our Drawing Rooms.

The Small and Long Drawing Rooms are perfectly linked to provide plentiful space for an elegant drinks reception, group photos, post dinner cocktails and picture perfect portraits.

With gilt mirrors, antique tapestries, open fires, and opulent seating it’s one of our favourite spaces in the castle.

Top tips for styling your winter wedding at the castle ✨

• Go big on candles - you can never have too many

• Embrace the dark nights with a sparkler exit

• Festive weddings? Add personalised crackers or baubles

• Cosy up. Add a fire pit in the courtyard, warm blankets and get toasting those s’mores

Holly & Robert completely transformed Berkeley Castle into a winter wonderland for their November wedding. The couple had a winter colour palette with lots of deep red tones including Robert’s red velvet suit jacket and burgundy bridesmaid dresses.

We all know that having a sustainable wedding is a good idea, but sometimes it's hard to know how we can achieve this. ​​​​​​​​
One way which can provide drama & beauty together with sustainability is having a 'living aisle' for your ceremony. Choosing plants over flowers means that you can either hire & return or keep them for you (& your guests) to enjoy for years after the big day. ​​​​​​​​

Hi!​​​​​​​​
It's been a while and we have had lots of new followers, so I thought I would come and say "hi". ​​​​​​​​
My name is Pippa and I am the Wedding & Events Manager at Berkeley Castle. I've been at Berkeley for nearly 11 years (it will be 11 years in January) and I have been a wedding planner for over 18 years. I absolutely LOVE my job (in fact it's not really a job, it's a way of life and I can't imagine doing anything else). ​​​​​​​​
I am here right from when you start your journey with us. I will be the one who answers your initial enquiry, I will be the one who shows you around the Castle & grounds where we start to get all excited about your wedding, I will be here throughout all your planning helping you every step of the way to create your dream wedding and I will be here on your wedding day making sure that everything is how you imagined it would be & more. ​​​​​​​​
I have met and helped so many incredible couples over the years and I am so looking forward to working with all my brides & grooms in 2023, 2024 and beyond. ​​​​​​​​

The night's are most definitely drawing in now and dare I say it .... Christmas is just around the corner! ​​​​​​​​
We LOVE a winter wedding here at the Castle; roaring fires, twinkling candle light. We only have a few winter dates left now for next year so if you have visions of a glamorous winter wedding in a venue steeped in history then do get in touch, download a brochure and come for a viewing. ​​​​​​​​
