To my dear friends and customers,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and love I have received from everyone in and around Berkeley over the past months and especially to everyone for coming to say goodbye to my Dave last Wednesday, I managed to see a few people to thank you personally, but I just couldn’t get to everyone. It really took my breath away, as I walked into church behind Dave, to see you all there. I truly feel Berkeley has thrown a giant pair of arms around me to hug me. Berkeley is an amazing special place.
Now that Dave’s funeral is over, I will be back, and get the shop back up and running, to a normal as possible service as I can, without Dave by my side. But I might have to make a few minor changes, like opening at 10am instead of 9am, so I can get deliveries out, hopefully this will reducing the need to close, during the day so much, and as I go on, I might have to find different ways around problems that will inevitably crop up.
But I will be back open and ready for business from this Tuesday 14th October.

I would like to thank everyone, that has sent, such heartfelt, beautiful, messages and cards to me, they have really gone a long way to help get me, through this dreadfully difficult time. Dave would be amazed and just blown away at the sheer number that I have received since losing him.

His funeral will be held at St Mary’s Church in Berkeley on Wednesday 9th October at 12.30pm, if you would like to come and say a goodbye to Dave, you are very welcome to attend the service with us.

Due to the totally devastating and heartbreaking loss of my husband David yesterday on 9th September, after a short but intensive battle with bowel cancer. The shop will be closed for the time being. Any orders that have already been placed with us for this time, will still be honoured, unless you hear from me.

We're off for a weeks holiday on Saturday 1st June to dip the paws and soak up some Dorset sunshine. We will be back open again on Tuesday 11th June.

Just to let you know our opening hours over the next few weeks or so, could be more erratic than normal, due to a bereavement in my family. We should be open most of the time as normal, but there will be time when I need to close, to sort out funeral arrangements etc for my Brother,

I would like to apologise now if this cause you any problems, and if you already have flowers booked in with me, don't worry I will be in touch with you if any problems a rise.

Berkeley Flowers is temporarily closed at the moment due to the current lockdown, Dave and myself feel it is important, we all need to do our bit, to reduce the spread of this dreadful virus , and follow the government's rules to stay at home, even though this is a really difficult decision for us to do so.
However if you do need flowers for a funeral, than please contact me on Facebook messenger, or email me on [email protected], and we can sort them out for you.
Anyone who we have a regular contract with or who has an order already booked in for January, if I haven't already spoken to you, I will be contacting you during this coming week to explain what is happening.
Hopefully we will be back open again soon, but in the meantime please everyone take care, keep safe, and look out for each other especially, anyone on their own during this crisis.

I just want to say a big thank you to my wonderful and caring customers who have understood the problem we have been experiencing getting the flowers in for Christmas with the borders and Europe being closed. But I have some GOOD NEWS, We managed to get some more stock today, so tomorrow morning (Christmas Eve), if you want to call in or phone I will be making up bouquets😄, We will be open until 1ish pm tomorrow.
One word of caution however the flooding around Berkeley/Dursley is really bad tonight, do take care, and if you have a delivery already booked in, Dave will do his uttermost to get all the deliveries out, but he says he draws the line at swimming down some of our lanes.
Hope everyone has the best Christmas you can in this very very difficult year, and (Covid willing) we will be open again on Tuesday 12th January 2021.

Although we will be closed to customers in the shop from Thursday, following todays government announcement. This time we are going to offer a pre order service for bouquets for contactless delivery or collection, and for funeral tributes delivery to local undertakers.

So either phone the shop on 01453 811061, or email me on [email protected], to arrange a delivery or collection. Payments will have to be either over the phone with credit/debit card or I can offer a PayPal method.
But please bear in mind that we might need a little notice to make sure we can the flowers in.

To my customers that have already placed an order with us, there should be no problem with your delivery, but customers who have arranging a collection from the shop after Thursday, please call me on Tuesday so we can confirm a time for you to collect or change your order to a delivery, and sort payments before you arrive (if you haven't already paid).

Dave and myself are going to our very best to still get flowers out to all of Berkeley and the surrounding areas, to bring a little ray of joy during these very difficult and testing times.

Keep safe and stay well and follow the new guidelines and we should all get through this.

I can't believe it has been 11 weeks since we were last open, but good news, we will be open again next week from Tuesday 16th June (fingers crossed). But due to the new restriction and for everyone’s safety, it will be only one person allowed in the shop at a time.
Dave, me and of course Purdey, can't wait to get back to Berkeley and see our lovely customers and friends again.

We would just like to thank all our wonderful customers for your support over Mothering Sunday weekend.

But due to the current ongoing coronavirus crisis and also the increasing difficulties of obtaining fresh flowers, we are unfortunately going to have to close for the foreseeable future, until this crisis is over.

If you have an order already booked in with us, over the next couple of weeks, we will be in touch soon.
