Get ready to spread some festive cheer! This holiday season, we’re excited to announce that our beloved Christmas Jumper Day tradition is expanding across all our sites! From December 12th to 24th, we invite our amazing staff to don their most festive jumpers, all while making a meaningful impact in our community.
But this year, we’re adding a special twist! In the spirit of giving, we ask that staff bring in a food item or two to contribute to our food bank box. Think of long-lasting essentials like tinned food, soup, biscuits, and long-life milk—every little bit helps! Your generosity will not only brighten your day but also bring joy to those in need. Together, we can create a ripple of kindness that resonates throughout our community.

At DJS Play Zone, we believe that playtime is not just about fun; it's also an opportunity for growth and learning. As we continue to enhance our soft play centre experience, we are excited to announce the introduction of a "Tidy Up Song" that will play during the last 10 minutes of each session within our Role Play Street (located upstairs within our centre). This initiative is designed to instill the values of responsibility and teamwork in our young visitors, encouraging them to reflect on their playtime while fostering a sense of ownership over their environment.
The importance of tidying up goes beyond just maintaining a clean space; it teaches children essential life skills that will serve them well as they grow. By incorporating this song into our routine, we aim to create a fun and engaging atmosphere where children can learn the significance of caring for their surroundings. DJ’s Play Zone Berkhamsted, is the newest of our three play centres under the brand DJ’s Play. A family run business, which started with the sister site DJ’s Play Jungle in St Albans, then adding DJ’s Play park in Hemel Hempstead and finally DJ’s Play Zone into the brand portfolio in December 2018.
The site was previously known as ‘The Kidzone’, which welcomed many customers and parties over the 25 years being open. In need of being updated and re branded, DJ’s Play took on the site in October 2018 and closed for a complete refurbishment. Opened in December 2018 and rebranded under the new name DJ’s Play Zone, Berkhamsted now has a new, fresh and updated play centre and party venue for all to enjoy!
DJ’s Play Zone have welcomed customers, members and parties into their warm and friendly play centre. The team are all trained to a high standard and receive reviews and recommendations on their superb customer service and party hosting skills.
The play centre hosts multiple parties each week, from soft play parties to laser tag and with a recently updated party website to create a smoother service from start to finish.
With a passion for great customer service and a love for perfect parties, DJ’s Play Zone is the top play and party destination around.
