My friend Karen worked for Barclays Bank, Karen has just lost her job, because she followed 'orders' by referring all customers to not use cash, use online, mobile & telephone banking when they entered the branch.

Karen's branch is now closed and she's jobless & Karen can no longer get a job in Asda, or Sainsbury's where she shops because they now only employ self-service checkouts instead of people. Continue to use cash or you'll be the next to lose your job.

Lady is still missing.
Lady managed to escape the car after a collision yesterday afternoon at Union chain bridge junction, she ran off towards Paxton house.
Lady is a black staffie puppy with a small white dot on chest and a white chin. She had a red lead on when she escaped and her collar had a bell, although she could have slipped this by now.
thank you so much to everyone who has been out helping, sharing and even bringing my dad coffees while he spent the night out looking for her. Please phone 07701085888 or Galedin vets if found.

2023 SWITCH-ON Announcement!
Dunbar Christmas Lights is delighted to present you with the itinerary for the hugely popular switch-on event, which will take place on Sunday 26th November, from 2pm - 6:30pm.
Come along to join us for a magical day, with live bands, DJ, ceilidh dancing & dance displays, craft stalls and children’s rides.

Santa is at The Sweetie Bank, Dunbar High St., from 13:30 - 17:30
Visit Father Christmas at Santa’s Grotto where every child will receive a parcel. Kids can also take away some special reindeer food that Santa will bring from the North Pole and a North Pole post box for any Christmas lists or messages. The ever-popular Dunbar Christmas Lights switch-on event will be held on Sun 26th Nov, High St., Dunbar.

The event commences at 2pm.

That's a wrap for Pumpkin picking 2023 at Oxford Farm! 🎃🍂 The weather might've had it's moments, but we started and ended with sunshine. Many thanks to all who joined us. 🌧 W E A T H E R 🌧

Isn't it lovely this autumnal weather we have. This is the one thing we can not control! We try to work around it as best we can. We are due to open again on Saturday and at the moment we feel that it will be safe for us to do so.

The patch will most definitely be muddy, so wellies and waterproofs are advised. If you love a splash in the mud, then this weekend, you are guaranteed just that. As Alfred Wainwright said, "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing."

We look forward to seeing you all for more pumpkin picking at the weekend.
