Wishing the Auld bank all the best going forward under new management. What a lovely building with endless potential for the right candidates.

Getting it up and going was a great new skill set to learn, however I am really excited to be back to what I love doing best, my own catering. 🥰

Making canapés in a storm was interesting, delivering in tact even more so 🙈🤪💨

This was a lovely commission today for a 40th, delivered to a beautiful venue in the borders check it out, I had no idea it existed…. Accommodation with a swimming poll and spa 🧖🏼‍♀️ what’s not to like!

The birthday girl was veggie therefore the selection was heavily cheese based 🧀 however we had a lot of meat eaters so I had fun creating a balance.

Menu

On Crostini

•Whipped feta, honey and toasted sunflower and linseeds

•Mushroom pate, balsamic glaze and rocket

• Cream cheese, tomato and rocket

•BBQ pulled pork and slaw

•Ardennes pate and cranberry

A full on few months bringing together the Auld Bank in Eyemouth.

I was drafted into the project in October and opened its doors 19th December 🌪️

My position was consultancy, setting up the kitchen, designing the Menus and getting the right people in for the job. No small feat however I’m really happy with how it’s looking and what it has to offer to the local town and community.

We have a great team of bar staff and the person who is now running the kitchen is 5 🌟

Invitations & letters have now been sent out to those volunteers, organisation & community groups that have been shortlisted for an award.

We will be hosting this years award reception, supported by Bedmax, at Berwick Rugby Club on Wednesday 25 September.

If you would like to attend the invitation only award reception then limited tickets are available - £10 per guest (includes buffet provided by Coast to Country ).
