Christmas Coffee Morning
Congratulations to everyone who braved the stormy weather to come along on Saturday (7th) to the Hall for the annual Christmas Coffee Morning.
We had a great time with the Hall beautifully decorated, some interesting stalls and seasonal treats. The first "Decorate a Christmas Tree" competition was won by Dawn Holt who received a Christmas hamper.
In total £356 was raised for the Hall funds. Many thanks to all who worked so hard - with decorations, in the kitchen, selling raffle tickets, running stalls. Look at the photos to see how successful it was!

Update 20.30 :

We have been sent a photo of the van that carried out the "work". Please share this to make others aware, not just in the Foulden area, this can affect Berwickshire the Borders and beyond. Please report them to the police they are aware of the incidents that have happened so far.

20.00
We have been made aware of a recent scam in the community and would like to warn others:

Workmen stating they were from the council said they had extra tarmac that needed laid and would they like their driveway done. Once completed a bill of £10,000 came in.
Please be vigilant and if your not sure ask around, phone the council etc.

FOR ALL QUIZZERS
Thanks to everyone who is supporting the "Meet and Treat" event on Thursday 10th for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Charity.
A query has been raised about Q.19 in the Quiz which is identified as having 10 letters in the answer. The spelling of this breed does vary between 8 and 10 letters - I chose 10 as it seemed "ease"ier.
Hope this helps!
Come along on Thursday between 10.00 and 11.30 am to meet Shona and Jan, with dog Dougal - bring some money to donate as you play some games.
Tim
