How amazing does this wedding cake look? We supplied the flowers and Thierry arranged them beautifully with the dark fruits. Don't know about you but I'm feeling hungry now!!
If you fancy a sweet treat or a cake for a special occasion, head over to T C Patisserie on Lairgate or their stall in Saturday Market every Saturday to support another local family business.

We love receiving photographs of the cakes we make.....this two tier chocolate cake, was decorated with dark fruit, flowers and chocolate shards and delivered to Sledmere house for this wonderful couples wedding 💕

Thank you for the kind person who left these at stage door. When I was 13 I used to work in a florist. I was the ‘bucket girl’ who used to clean all the slimy buckets out every Saturday and give the flowers fresh water. This slowly led to me being there whenever I could - half terms, summer holidays - it was a peaceful haven and I loved getting hands dirty.
Working there put me in the heart of the community and I loved getting to know the customers who enjoyed a natter. Flowers are given for joy, love, grief, birth, death - they are the ‘I’m thinking of you’ whatever the occasion.
Sunflowers were my favourite back then, and I always loved when they came in. These have filled me with joy. Thank you! ❤️🙌🏼 xx

We're just in the process of doing our Easter displays and we have these helium filled balloons we've removed from our Mother's Day display. They're free to a good home if anyone would like to collect from our shop? A small donation to comic relief would be appreciated.

Say hello to Tina! She's a carnivorous Pinguicula, she loves eating flies!!! You'd never believe it looking at her pretty delicate flowers, but if you look closer you can see some of her small victims stuck to her leaves! Her common name is Butterworts.

Our shop is now closed for the Easter holidays, we re-open 10am Tuesday 11th April. Orders can be placed on our website for delivery or collection from Tuesday onwards.

Once again we'd like to thank all our customers for their loyal support of their local Florist shop, we really do appreciate it.Huge thanks to the whole team for making a lot of ladies very happy over the last week.

HOWEVER WE START THE WEEK ON A SAD NOTE!
Our team have been infected by the COVID virus and we've made the decision to currently close our doors to the public, till we're all fit and healthy and the shop has had a deep clean! Don't worry our healthy team members are honoring all current orders already on our books. We hope you've all had a wonderful Valentine's day? Thank you for shopping local and supporting us once again, we really appreciate it. Amazing effort from our team to get all your flowers designed and delivered today and over the weekend. Lots of beautiful displays and an incredible amount of stunning red roses have left our shop.

We truly appreciate your custom, loyalty and support over the last year and look forward to being there for all your floral requirements in the New Year.
New Years are time for reflection and hope for the future and never has this been more poignant. As a family and business we've had a lot of unexpected situations to deal with this past year and we really appreciate all your support, love and kindness shown to us as we continue to mourn the loss of our business partner, daughter, wife, mother, sister & workmate. It's been truly heartwarming and touching to receive such lovely support and kind words as we deal with the loss of Claire.
We move forward, united and hopeful for a calmer more balanced 2023 and doing what we do best providing beautiful, memorable flowers to help you all through the months ahead for all the happy, sad and just-because moments that lie ahead in this New Year.
We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Our doors re-open from 10am-2.00pm Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th January. Then we resume our new trading hours of 10am till 4.00pm daily, with the exception of Wednesday when we close at 2.00pm.
