Tickets are selling like hot scones 😉 so best to get in touch and book your space, drag along your friends and neighbours for an event not to be missed!

We are totally for bringing the community together and all in aid of getting the community cafe up and running! Let’s do this!

It’s with a great deal of sadness that today we announce the closure of our beloved coffee mornings at Pebsham Community Hub

Due to the ever increasing cost of living putting a strain on us and our personal lives becoming more demanding we have no option but to make this announcement.

We hope there will be someone out there who would love to take this on and make it their own but for us it’s a farewell for now.

We will however be holding one off events throughout the year when our time can be managed to do so

Thank you to everyone who has come along and supported our little project we hope you all made some new friends in the community and we’ve so enjoyed every moment spent with you all

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for what turned out to be such a wonderful event, The Haystingers really did put on a fab night!!

So our totally raises for mind is £1,106.50!! This is incredible so thank you to everyone who helped this happen

It’s so disheartening being sent screen shots of conversations about our coffee morning that has happened in a local group full of false claims from half a side of a story!

Just to clarify for anyone looking at joining our coffee mornings that we hold once a month!

The home made cakes that are hugely expensive… if you’ve ever been to us we run on donations only, meaning we don’t charge a set price 🤷‍♀️ we spend so much of our Sunday baking these especially for you guys to enjoy mainly at our expense as we still pay for hall hire!

As for them being left at the centre overnight? Again if any are stored at the centre they are in airtight cake boxes or in the fridge if required, we both hold food hygiene certificates!

The very fact our integrity is attempting to be demolished given we all volunteer to run this incredible thing at the centre for no profit is disappointing and heartbreaking. If you want to meet the real us please don’t base us on hearsay from someone who has never even been to us!

Our sessions are always packed so we must be doing something right? ☺️ So see you all again next month

The Haystingers are a fantastic country/hillbilly rock band who are super popular in the area! They always put on a great night and we anticipate a sell out event, so book in early!

This is an extremely hard post to write. It is with absolute heartfelt sadness that we are no longer going to be hosting coffee mornings every Monday at Pebsham Community Hub.

Instead we will only be running this amazing morning once a month (dates listed below) we hope you understand. Carole and Jo have been working almost every single weekend to bake you fresh goodies, but it’s time now to prioritise our families who in this time have supported us and taken a back seat while we did this.

The dates of coffee mornings will be as follows:

July 31st
August 21st
September 25th
October 30th
November 27th
December 11th

This isn’t a decision we have made lightly and we hope you fully understand! In light of this we will be looking to extend the time until 12:30 to give you all time to catch up too! But will be in touch once we have spoken to the hubs bookings person
