Possibly the biggest setup of the year so far…. This one is sound and lights only - two friends DJing, but needed sound and light to make their set pop…. I think we nailed it.

Mid 90s to Early 2000s span my Uni and Early work days. Leicester and London, amazing music, brilliant friends. The clubs of choice:
Leicester:
- Mosquito (Mossie) Coast
- Crystals
- Zoots

London:
- Hackney Empire

The mix of current (then) tracks and 80s throwbacks was infectious and the alco-pop combined with the close packed sweaty smokey dance floors claimed their fair share of young innocence…

Just a short playlist with some pivotal tracks that, if I close my eyes, I’m transferred back to those crazy, crazy nights

The mid 1990s in the UK was an amazing scene for music. The club scene was banging, superstar DJs, Ministry of Sound and the UK indie rock scene all bursting out into the conscious minds of the 90s teens and youth.

This playlist was created a few years ago now for a clients garden party. They were massive fans of UK indie and Britpop, and it was an absolute delight to be able to work together a setlist of some of my all time favourite songs in what has to have been one of the most formative music genres of my youth. Nights spent at venues such as , , , seeing these bands live, stage diving and crowd surfing the mosh pit. Pure gold.

This week, we’re going back to my clubbing days. Back to my days on the Wakefield finishing off in or . If you were feeling e little more saucy, there was always over the road.
