Our story

On the 3rd January 2017 we lost my darling brother Lewis to lung cancer. A day we will never forget for the rest of my life. The two weeks that followed leading up to his funeral, I decided that I was going to make my own floral tribute to him. I watched a few videos and so it began. I found so much peace upon doing so and found it to be extremely therapeutic, it gave me a purpose in those first weeks. I was so happy and proud of the finished product and I think he would of been too, considering it was my first attempt!

After his funeral I wanted to have something to focus on. So, I continued to watch videos and read many books on flower arranging. I kept practising and Lou-Lou Belle Flowers was established. I’ve taught myself everything to this point, of which I’m immensely proud of. I’ve dedicated it to Lewis as he was the reason I found flowers, also Lewis’s nickname as a child was Lou-Lou Bell. I find comfort in the fact he left me something to focus on and he leaves me the gift of flowers everyday.

I’ve discovered a real love and passion for flowers and I will be taking courses this year to progress my knowledge and skill to take it to the next level.

This page and my work is dedicated in loving memory to my dear beautiful brother Lewis Alan Thomas Dunn 19.12.1977-03.01.2017
