💛It’s Pudsey week at Little Learners North West Kent!

We are loving all the fine motor control training happening without the children even realising - because to them, it’s just PLAY! The greatest way to learn 💜

The water play station has by far been the most popular but I definitely didn’t have as much cereal or couscous left in the trays as I’d set up 🤔 Must be that cheeky Pudsey bear…🐻

💜A few piccies from our thurs/Fri classes - this week our inspiration was Diwali and Remembrance 💜

We’ve had a fabulous time talking about our heroes (including our animal heroes!), Rangoli patterns, and exploring all the different textures and smells in class! I was so proud of how many children were heading to the back of the class to use the “Scribble station” this week - picking up pens, making their marks, peeling stickers - so much fine motor control!!

Next week… Nursery Rhymes 💜 we can’t wait!!

🧪🧙‍♀️ Our little witches and wizards concocted the most potent potions, dug up the choco graveyards and gave all the things that go bump in the night a run for their money. 👻

**Soppy post incoming**

💜 So most of you know I really don’t like being in pics. (Me, Aisha, in image, arghhh 🙈) But how can I resist that little face after he’s got into my lap for a cuddle and play while I chat to his wonderful mama?

There’s something so special about families booking terms and returning month after month. The bonds we build with our little learners and their families are so joyful, warm and fuzzy.

We smile, laugh, have hugs and high-fives and get messy together. In classes, we get first steps, first “tastes”, first social play and friendships. We become your bubbas first “teachers” (after you guys of course) and they begin to learn boundaries outside of their normal comfort zones, ready for nursery settings and beyond.

We’re part of your “village” for awhile and we couldn’t love it more or be more proud and honoured. 💜

Final week of term - Autumn week! 🍁🍂

🐿️Our class leaders Ellie and Rachel have been setting up such exciting Autumn activities for our pupils in Bexleyheath and Greenhithe so far this week!

🎃We are loving exploring the Autumnal pumpkin sensory tray, our suspiciously yummy hedgehog, bird seed autumn trees and more!

Lots of our little ones have been loving making their marks in the paint and on our giant leaf paper too!

👶🏼🍼 Babies themed week!!!

Using our amazing motor skills to grip our brushes and sponges, wash the mucky babies, brush their teeth, feed them applesauce and make our early writing marks left, right and centre!

So proud of all our little learners and your gorgeous stories and feedback have been so heartwarming.

👶🏽 B A B I E S W E E K 👶🏼

We love babies week!!! It was such a hit with our 3 classes today 😍😍 we are loving being at this point in the term when our little learners are really trying out things they’ve not tried before!

Booking terms with us gives our children the time, chance and space to explore like this, dip their toes in things that haven’t been their favourite activities before and PROGRESS! 💜

So many families have shared posts and stories for us today as well - thank you SO much! It means a lot!!

🎈L I L I A N A I S T W O! 🎉

Happy birthday to this gorgeous little learners I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for a long time now! Now of course we had to include ALL of her favourite things in the world at her messy play party - Hey Duggee, Buses and trains!

I can see some little fingers got into the duggee tray before we could get a photo - clearly he was irresistible! 😂

The feedback has been so heartwarming and Liliana absolutely loved her party - she obviously couldn’t help choo choo’ing at the train tracks 🤣💜 adorable!!
