This was a double header for the fantastic Yorkshire Water. Their company conference in Harrogate at the pavilions followed by their staff recognition awards in Leeds.

This was a fantastic event for our longtime client Arriva. Working with the senior leadership team in Rome, Italy and understanding how exciting the future is for organisation.

Tuesday. “Hello Wembley” for Primis Live 2024.

The Distinct team supported the lovely team at Primis for their Primis Live event at Wembley Stadium working in the Sir Bobby Moore Suite and the Great Room for a day of presentations, sponsors expo and gala dinner and awards. We had several business and industry update presentations and also guest interviews with Boxer Carl Froch MBE and Lioness Alex Scott MBE .

The event opened with a spectacular dance routine celebrating a selection of key events held at Wembley over the years and the day completed with a brilliant DJ set from the very funny Vernon Kay.

So, the summer break is upon us and we all get chance to grab a quick breath. Social media is swamped with pictures of legs by the pool, plates of well presented food and selfies.. where the background is far better than the object. 😃

We thought we would fill this week with pictures of shows we have delivered since the end of 2023 and into 2024. A production fest for the eyes if you will just to break up the sunsets, aqua pools and single glasses of wine in the centre of a table.

So. Monday!!!

The DCD Global Awards 2023. The venue, The Westminster Bridge Park Plaza for almost 1,000 guests with Dara O’Briain as the master of ceremonies. Pre dinner drinks with Live music, dinner with more live music, full awards followed by even more music and dancing. All neatly squeezed into a 24 Hour Window of time.

Today marks 20 Years of Distinct Solutions Limited and 20 years of delivering events and projects all over the world. Over the years I have been lucky enough to work with some of the best people in the live events industry and they have helped deliver so many amazing events, its hard to remember them all.

During this time, we have asked our clients to tell us about how we are as an events partner, good, bad and ugly.. The feedback has been so lovely but the line that came up the most was "We don't know what it is.... but we always know when its a "Distinct" event. We thought for some time as to what that could be and we realised quickly, that it was down to our people. The distinct team, our freelancers and suppliers get on-board with the event objectives, even when they seem a little crazy. They understand the vision and live and breathe it with us. The love and energy that has been given to every project has been unlimited and I will always be hugely thankful of that. Teamwork makes the dream work!! as I have heard many times.

A massive thank you to our many clients who have put their trust in us to help them and their organisations shine. Trust is a word that comes up repeatedly and its something that we respect it and cherish it. Thank you.

There is a sign on our office wall and it says "Do it with passion, or not at all!" This is something we have stood by for the last 20 years and something we will continue to believe in for the next 20 years.

We have heard on good authority that there might be a shortage of event production support in the UK over the next few weeks. Now, keep this to yourselves as panic buying conference or event production support doesn’t help anyone however, we have a load of support for all events including, exhibitions, product launches or even an awards show.

If you feel that you want to stock up before the madness begins, please don’t panic and get in contact with the team here at Distinct Solutions.

Customers will be limited to a maximum purchase of 20 events in any single transaction.

We are all so pleased to be back in the world of live events. Working with our brand new client Cadent.

We are all socially distant and smothered in sanitiser and masked up for safety. It’s a small price to pay to be back together again
