If you’re anywhere near us, you’ll have been teased by two slightly sunny days this week…until today! So here at @strattoncourtbarn we do what we normally do when it’s cold, grey and rainy…we look through wedding albums! ☀️🥰
Today’s album that has cheered us all up was shot by the fab Kim @kja.photography2 for the equally fab Charlie @charles_b39 and Elliott who got married with us mid October last year 🫶🏻. We often get asked about sunsets here and we have to say, we get very lucky with them, even later in the year. And Charlie and Elliott’s wedding was no different. The sun dips low over the fields and is just stunning.🤩

“Where to begin...Myself & my partner don’t live locally to Bicester/Stratton Court Barn and had stumbled across the venue online, after we had visited numerous venues in our local area, which didn’t tick our box.
From the first initial contact, we knew Stratton Court Barn was the wedding venue for us. The staff were friendly, efficient, thorough and really took the time to get to know us before our big day, no question is silly and no request too big. Charlotte was our wedding coordinator and was truly incredible, we cannot say enough nice things about her and our day really wouldn’t have been as good as it was without her looking after us all.
The venue (both the buildings and the grounds) are truly breath-taking and clearly so well maintained. We wanted to make the most of the venue and both myself & my now husband got ready at the venue in the morning (in the stables and the granary cottage) and we would highly recommend this as the celebrations start early and with complete ease.
We absolutely loved that our dog could be part of our day too!
Our guests on our wedding day couldn’t say enough nice things about the whole day and we could go on to say more but we just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams, we just wish we could do it all again!”

Sit down with your partner to discuss your guest list and set a realistic budget. These two decisions will be the foundation of everything else, from choosing the right venue to planning the finer details.
🏛️ 2: Start Venue Hunting (the exciting bit!)
Once you have your guest list and budget in mind, it’s time for one of the most exciting parts – viewing wedding venues! Finding “the one” (after already finding *the one*, of course 😉) is such a special moment, and we’d love to help you find it at Stratton Court Barn.
So why Choose Stratton Court Barn?
We love weddings, it’s as simple as that! Large, small, intimate, personal weddings - whatever you want for your special day tailored just for you.
✨ Ceremony: Picture exchanging vows in our beautiful barn, which offers space for up to 90 guests. Or we can accommodate up to 130 guests in our newest barn The Byre.
🌿 Or…enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside and have your ceremony in Ferne Wood, our Rose Garden or the Courtyard.

2024: OUR BEST BITS! 💝
What a year it has been at Stratton Court Barn - our busiest yet, and because of all of you we’ve been as loved up as ever! 🥰
This year has been filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
We’re truly honoured to have helped create lasting memories for you all. 🫶🏻
Excitingly this year, we launched The Byre. Full of rustic charm this space has hosted wonderful wedding breakfasts since the summer and is an incredible addition to our venue.
We’d like to thank all the team for their hard work and each and every supplier who has been with us for a wedding or event - you’re all so unbelievably lovely and talented and bring so much joy to our couples special days. And us!
Most of all we’d like to thank our couples who chose to say “I do” with us. Every year we love working with you: from initial showrounds, to meetings, to your big day. Each wedding is individual and so so special.💕
