💌 1: Guest List + Budget
Sit down with your partner to discuss your guest list and set a realistic budget. These two decisions will be the foundation of everything else, from choosing the right venue to planning the finer details.
🏛️ 2: Start Venue Hunting (the exciting bit!)
Once you have your guest list and budget in mind, it’s time for one of the most exciting parts – viewing wedding venues! Finding “the one” (after already finding *the one*, of course 😉) is such a special moment, and we’d love to help you find it at Stratton Court Barn.
So why Choose Stratton Court Barn?
We love weddings, it’s as simple as that! Large, small, intimate, personal weddings - whatever you want for your special day tailored just for you.
✨ Ceremony: Picture exchanging vows in our beautiful barn, which offers space for up to 90 guests. Or we can accommodate up to 130 guests in our newest barn The Byre.
🌿 Or…enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside and have your ceremony in Ferne Wood, our Rose Garden or the Courtyard.
🥂 Wedding Breakfast: Enjoy dining with up to 130 of your loved ones, whether you prefer round tables or banquet-style long tables. After dinner, dance the night away with up to 175 guests!

2024: OUR BEST BITS! 💝
What a year it has been at Stratton Court Barn - our busiest yet, and because of all of you we’ve been as loved up as ever! 🥰
This year has been filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
We’re truly honoured to have helped create lasting memories for you all. 🫶🏻
Excitingly this year, we launched The Byre. Full of rustic charm this space has hosted wonderful wedding breakfasts since the summer and is an incredible addition to our venue.
We’d like to thank all the team for their hard work and each and every supplier who has been with us for a wedding or event - you’re all so unbelievably lovely and talented and bring so much joy to our couples special days. And us!
Most of all we’d like to thank our couples who chose to say “I do” with us. Every year we love working with you: from initial showrounds, to meetings, to your big day. Each wedding is individual and so so special.💕
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to continue making dreams come true in this beautiful space we’re lucky to call Stratton Court Barn. Here’s to another year of love and celebration! 🥂

Oscars all round! Ok so we couldn’t resist! And have already submitted this to BAFTA and The Academy so watch this space. At *least* Best Actor and Actress for our very own Jonnie and Olivia right? 😂🤪

A really wonderful five star Google review from Lucy @x.lucybertie.x and Calum who got married with us in September in Ferne Wood, with their wedding breakfast in The Byre.
“My husband and I only viewed one venue and that was Stratton Court Barn - we fell in love with it immediately! We chose to get married in the wonderful Ferne Wood.
Charlotte was absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Her enthusiasm was incredible!
We were originally booked to have the meal in the main barn but once the Byre was built we swapped to that, with the DJ in the main barn.
The Byre is stunning and coupled with the stunning drapes from @somethingborrowed123 it was the most perfect setting.
Due to weather concerns we had plans A, B and C but luckily it held out for us and our dream of a woodland wedding came to life! We even had our horse there :)
Nothing was too much trouble and with Charlotte in control we could relax all day. The family gave so many positive comments about her, her enthusiasm and passion. She is an absolute credit to Stratton Court Barn!

The Beautiful Byre 🤩
How stunning are these shots of our new space The Byre taken by @kja.photography2 on the photoshoot day we had last month? We’re swooning! 🥰
We’ve been asked a lot about this space and also details from the photoshoot. All the incredible suppliers who made this shoot happen are listed below ⬇️ They’re amazing and well worth checking out if you’re wedding planning!
The Byre is now in full swing and we have held some beautiful moments in here since it launched last month - we will share more of these moments soon!
This space can seat 130 for a ceremony and the same number at round or long tables for your wedding breakfast.
Our fireplace creates warmth and cosiness for weddings not held at the height of summer. And for summer - we throw open the doors onto the courtyard, perfect for entertaining and making sure the gorgeous sunsets we get here don’t get missed! 🌅

Wedding Spotlight: OCTOBER 🍂🧡❤️
There’s something magical about an autumn wedding at our barn at the heart of Autumn. The crisp air, the rich, golden tones of the leaves which are (mostly!) still on the trees and the soft, amber sunlight create the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love and celebration. 🥰
Amy and Lauren held their wedding here almost a year ago (happy anniversary!) and what a beautiful day they had.
Autumn weddings here aren’t just about the beauty of the surroundings. They’re about the cosiness of gathering with your closest family and friends, the warmth of the woodburner (in our new space The Byre - not pictured!), and the comfort of knowing your day is wrapped in the charm of the season. 🍂🍁
