These gorgeous ladies tied the knot yesterday at Traquair... Fernanda is from Brazil and Noelia from Argentina, so we had a trilingual ceremony in English, Spanish and Portuguese, complete with bagpipes, handfasting and a unity candle. So much love ...

Yesterday's wedding was a riot! I had the pleasure of marrying Lily and Graeme at Cornhill and what a day they had. They've known each other for forty years, so it's taken a while but they finally did it, complete with a guard of honour of twelve firemen. Brilliant day! Congratulations Lily and Graeme.

Yesterday's wedding was an extravaganza of Scottish and Mexican delights as Carla and Grant said their 'I Dos' at the fabulous Wedderlie House. The Mexican contingent thoroughly enjoyed wearing their kilts and looked amazing, ten month Romeo was the ringbearer and did a great job, giving himself a lovely clap at the end, the peacocks joined in the fun, and there was much love and laughter.

Congratulations and happy Halloween to Maria and Paul, who I had the pleasure of marrying yesterday at Traquair, one of my favourite venues. Yesterday saw Becca and Alex tie the knot in a beautiful personal ceremony conducted by Becca's dad, while I got to watch and stepped in for the legal vows. The lovely Charlie the cockapoo did a great job as ring bearer, and everyone held hands to perform a shared heartbeat symbolic gesture. Lovely!

Congratulations to Charlotte and Louise, who tied the knot at the gorgeous and very atmospheric Cottiers in Glasgow. They arrived in style in a fabulous vintage campervan, we had handfasting, and they sealed the deal with a tot of that traditional Scottish drink (rum!) from the quaich. A brilliant day that they will always remember...
