Jack and Aimee did it! They got married today in the fabulous Glasgow University Chapel, with a lot of laughter and a few glistening eyes as they said their vows to each other.

And they even let me sing! (Aimee was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar when they met - you know the rest ...)

Gorgeous! Yesterday I had the pleasure of marrying Nicolas and Laura at the fabulous Forter Castle. They and their family travelled from North and South America, and they all fell in love with this beautiful venue, with the smallest chapel I've ever seen. We somehow got seventeen people in there, with the bridesmaids perched happily on the little stone staircase leading down into the chapel.

I'm not sure that Laura particularly liked the whisky that we had in the quaich, but that's the tradition! And that's what we had, poured by Laura's father and Nicolas's grandfather, who welcomed them into their families.

It was the happiest of days, we wish them all the best.
