Christmas wreaths 2024 ….the order book is open but slightly embarrassed to say that my post is a little late as repeat customers have got in there first. So sorry folks but I can only take a couple more pre-orders although keep an eye on my stories as there may be a few extras.

As always my wreaths will be packed full with a lush mix of scented festive foliage and finished with a luxurious floaty cream or raspberry red velvet ribbon.

£65 each (approx 55cm/20inches diameter).

Both hand bound on a moss based wreath frame so fully compostable and the mechanics/velvet ribbon reusable for another year.

Limited numbers available for collection (CM11) from the beginning of December.

Please note that the photo is an example only and exact varieties included may vary slightly due to availability.

When planning your wedding flowers what do you need to think about?

Do you need to know the names of flowers you want to have? No, unless there are flowers you’d particularly like to be included (or excluded) depending on availability.

The biggest thing is to trust your florist that they’ll draw out from you all the information they need to know and will check that they’re always on the same page with you.

Here’s a few ideas to think about:

- Overall style of the wedding. Are we talking wild or minimalist or something in the middle? Pick the florist whose style most aligns with your overall aesthetics. I always ask about all the other elements that you’re incorporating and build these into your mood board.
- Colour palette? eg on the scale of pinks are we talking extreme pale blush or bright bold pink? Do you want to introduce any accent colours with it e.g pinks with peach or raspberry?
- What’s your budget? Your florist will advise on how to make the most of this. Remember that a few bigger pieces work better than lots of little. Where are the focal areas for photos? Which designs can be moved from ceremony to reception eg meadows?

All these little details (amongst many more) form part of the initial chat and full consultation I have with every couple. So no need to panic if you haven’t a clue where to start. Just enjoy the process and it’ll all come together beautifully.

Yay summer days have arrived and so too has the arrival of wedding season. Looking forward to ordering lots of pretty seasonal flowers for next week’s wedding. But first it’s that necessary prep of bucket cleaning!

It’s finally March and the days are getting longer.

It’s been lovely to start planning 2024 weddings and meet up over a coffee with my brides. As I only take on a few weddings each year, those meetings are extra special and I leave with that lovely buzz of what an honour it is to flower your days and brimming with excitement thinking of all the pretty blooms.

Happy weekend all xx

As January comes to a close it’s been a month of tidying the hut after Christmas wreath workshops, replying to a flurry of those recently engaged and and catching up with those brides whose dates are finally not that long away.

Happy Anniversary to this lovely couple whose winter wedding was a joy to flower in Suffolk last year.
