𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘅. At Great British Tents we are experiencing a high number of summer bookings, and therefore require a hard working individual to join our team on a part-time, self-employed basis. You will be helping with transporting and building/taking down Tipi, Stretch Tent and Bell Tent structures. ⁣

The ideal candidate will possess a can-do attitude and enjoy outdoor physical work. This is an interesting and rewarding opportunity for a committed and hardworking individual. ⁣
⁣
*This role is well suited to a student looking for summer work. ⁣
⁣

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
⁣
Setting up and dismantling structures as part of a team.⁣
⁣
Help transporting tents and equipment to different events. ⁣
⁣
Keeping to tight time deadlines and be flexible to work at all times.⁣
⁣
Ensuring all jobs are completed safely and to the highest standard. ⁣
⁣

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

Hardworking with a can-do attitude.⁣
⁣
Good communication skills as you will occasionally need to interact with clients.⁣

Physically fit as you will be working with heavy equipment.⁣

Driving license (desirable).⁣

Who found themselves down at the pub yesterday?!

The Sussex Oak at Warnham were excited to finally be welcoming everyone back to the pub! Our Giant Tipi was the perfect addition to add a little shelter for the unpredictable British weather, and of course... kitted out with some lighting to create that magical atmosphere. 🍻

We are excited to be working with The Sussex Oak for their opening on Monday 12th April!🥳 We will be setting up a Tipi to create the perfect space for indoor/outdoor dining.

What could be better than finally getting down to the pub for drinks in the sunshine!🍻

We can’t wait to see you!

We are delighted to be re-opening on Monday 12th April for outside bookings! Groups of up to 6 people from any household or two household groups (including children) everyone must be seated at all times, you can reserve a table in our large garden for food & drinks. Our friends at Great British Tipis have also set up a great indoor/outdoor space where tables can be booked for dining, on a first come, first serve basis. Please email [email protected] to book a bench or call us on 01403 265028 and leave a message, we will confirm your reservation back to you as soon as possible. Please be sure to arrive on time for your booking & if your plans change, please just call us so someone else can use the table.

We hope the weather will be kind to us all, however, best come prepared - a blanket if you feel the cold & if it looks overcast an umbrella! Due to current regulations, we are unable to allow anyone to come inside the pub unless to use the toilets, we will be operating a one way system.

Our operating hours for the first week are as follows;
Monday 12th April - Thursday 15th April inclusive Bar opens 11am - Closes at 9pm, food served 12pm - 2.30pm, 6- 8pm.
Friday 16th April and Saturday 17th bar opens at 11 am closes at 10pm. Food served 12 - 9pm.
Sunday 18th April bar opens at 12 pm -closes at 6pm, Food served 12 pm till 5pm.

After lunch on Sunday 18th April, the pub will reopen on Wednesday 21st April, and operate Wednesday to Sundays until further notice with the exception of bank holidays ( resevations strongly recommended)

Our staff will be operating within Government guidelines and we ask you to do the same, so we can remain open for everyone to enjoy the pub. We are lucky we have plenty of outside space to host you all & we look forward to seeing you again.

We will keep you updated on here and our page as rules change & hopefully we can take inside bookings from 14th May.
