This week's update from Farm Manager David Whitehead Busy Spring time. Drilling Oats ready for the 2023 Harvest. Our Oats go to various places not only in England. The lorry being loaded yesterday with Oats from 2022 harvest is part of 300 tonnes going to Maselis in Belgium. https://www.maselis.be/en/home The lorries tip the Oats there and then reload in same factory with Corn Grits to come back to InBev Brewery Magor. https://www.facebook.com/Maselis.be

Next year's wheat crop being direct drilled, (with the spire of the Waterloo Tower seen in the distance). Our thanks go to David Whitehead Quex Estate Farm Manager for sending this in.

Farm Manager David Whitehead explains that harvest is drawing to close and should be done by the end of the week. Elliott really cracking on with the Beans. With such dry hot conditions perfect for harvesting and no drying costs. But dust itโ€™s unbelievable.
