The Chocolate Cellar

The Chocolate Cellar Creating little luxuries for the everyday through our chocolates and our chocolate experiences. I have a little chocolate making unit and a small shop front.

I started The Chocolate Cellar from my home after being inspired by the book Chocolat! I made chocolate for friends and family and they all asked if I would sell them. The hobby turned into an obsession and getting tired of everywhere in the kitchen being covered in Chocolate, I converted our cellar into a secret little chocolate factory. The hobby became a full time business ... the name came fro

m where I was making chocolate! Over the years The Chocolate Cellar has moved from my home to Birkenhead, to Liverpool, back to home and now we are in New Ferry. From here we run our online shop, supply to other shops and also run chocolate making workshops for children and adults, for birthdays, hen parties and team building.

Really looking forward to being part of this new monthly farmers market starting in April!

We’re thrilled to announce that our market will be launching on Sunday, 6th April at The Stables – a venue bursting with history and character!

Location: The Stables (South West of Gladstone Theatre), Greendale Road, CH62 4XB

Built in 1894 and designed by William Owen, The Stables once housed Lever Brothers’ horses, playing a vital role in the soap manufacturing history of Port Sunlight. This remarkable building is one of the few surviving structures from the village’s industrial past, maintaining its stunning Arts and Crafts architecture inside and out.

Join us at this iconic venue for the launch of our new market, where history meets community spirit! Don’t miss out on a day of shopping, food, and fun in this beautifully preserved piece of heritage.

Save the Date: Sunday, 6th April

Where History and Community Come Together!

We can’t wait to see you there! 🎉

I've been recuperating after catching the nasty bug that's been going around and was looking back on the lovely reviews that have been left for us.

It is wonderful to look back and remember this fabulous commission that we had in the summer. It was such a delight to make the salted caramels!

I think this really helped me up my air brushing skills!

Wishing you the loveliest of the festive season and hope that you manage to get a rest and a chance to indulge yourselves a little.

We're taking a little bit of time out to recoup our energy and come back with a zest in the new year so the shop and cafe will be closed until 11th January.

Thank you again x

Quick update on our stock situation.

We have been making and packaging as fast as we can everyday and have fulfilled our orders. Any spare stock has sold almost immediately in the shop. I understand that it is disappointing to make your way to our shop only to find that we don't have what you wanted I am sorry for this but we have been asking people to pre-order since October as we wanted to avoid this. Please be kind to the team. We really are trying our best.

The good news is that Claremont Farm and Linghams Booksellers have been recently topped up. I have managed to make some stock of truffles and bars to take to West Kirby Farmers' Market for the morning (saturday) and after the market I will make more for Oxton Village Market (Sunday)

The shop is open for collections on Saturday and on Monday.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and support 🙏 🙏
