ONCE UPON A TIME ..

Heres our second event , we've picked a great line up bringing different vibes & flava's to the melting pot , on the night we will be celebrating Mr Dee's Birthday, we've been mates for 35 yrs so it was only right we put on a bit of a doo for his 50th , thats no joke , Mr Dee turns 50 on the 29th of march ..

To celebrate we've brought in Flashbacks very own head honcho the legend Mo Jones aka Mistress Mo, who'll be playing an oldskool house set a rare delight and something we are very much looking forward too ..

To host the night we have the legend and friend MC Ranski , he don't need no introduction , a local foundation legend of the rave scene , you know he brings the vibe and creates a great atmosphere alongside any Dj , the hype man .

Andre Armour , playing all those Tins Tins classics from yesteryear , you know they'll be some singing going on with this set ..

Paul Brown , Chip Charlies legend , his coming to play a warpers bassline set , who don't like a warper or 3 ..

Jungle Citizenz , will be coming to mix things up with a jungle Drum n bass set , expect lots of classics and dub specials ..

Mr Dee , Birthday set , his said his got something special in the bag for this one , we expect nothing less , Daz always brings the vibes .. his no longer on FB as his taking a sabbatical from social media ..

And to kick things off and warm the night up we Obi Twon B2B with Matty E , playing classics and upfront tech house ..

Again this is totally FREE , with improved soundsystem and lighting ..

7pm - 1am .. The Station , Kingsheath Birmingham..

Wax On return to the intimate settings of the mighty Hare and Hounds. It’s our 6th Birthday and we’d love you to spend it with us. This is the first of 3 parties we have planned for 2024!!

When we started this little night there was one name at the top of the list who we had to get to grace the Wax On decks, well it’s took a while but finally it gives us great pleasure to announce our headliner for this special night is DJ RATTY. He will be performing a special 90 minute set alongside Birmingham’s own MC BUSTA – you just know it’s going to go off!!!

Also gracing the decks is the South Coast legend, Riverdance resident, Cantina Cuts and Jedi Recordings head honcho DJ JEDI!!! Bringing the Nu Skool flavours to Wax On. Top selector and impeccable mixer – this set will celebrate all that is amazing about this new wave of Oldskool hardcore. Let’s have it!!

Finally another Legend to round things off – DJ KELLA , Midlands massive know all about KELLA. He has been on our wants list for too long now. One of the stalwarts of our scene, always promoting and supporting new and old sounds alike. Tireless streamer with numerous shows across most platforms. It’s an honour to have him on board. Big set inbound!

Co-promoters and residents Flinty and Diverse will be throwing down their own brand of oldskool goodness to complete the lineup!!
