Such an incredible place that I have visited with the children for many years. We really adore it here.

Our exhibition, the History of Selly Manor opened today until August 3rd.

Discover the rich history of one of Birmingham's oldest buildings.

Admission includes entry into Selly Manor Museum.

Please note: the exhibition will close at 1pm on Friday 26th, and be closed all day Saturday 27th. The exhibition will reopen on Sunday 28th.

Just a few of the flowers used in Adele and Peter’s wedding . Cream, white with cool blue touches. Lots of British grown included. Garden roses, ranunculus, forget me not, Nigella, campanula, peonies and delphiniums, amongst others.

Make your own dried flower wreath in this creative workshop on Sunday 9th June at 11am. This event is part of - a city-wide festival which will kick off on May 19 and run until August 26.

Whether you want to surprise a loved one or give a room in your home a focal point of texture and colour, dried flowers really do stand the test of time. With proper care your dried flowers should last between 1-3 years. Your dried floral wreath will be made from materials that are kind to the environment. Your dried flowers are naturally grown, and dried, by local growers.

Your workshop will be led by Louise from Vanilla Ruffles Floral Design who trained as a floral designer at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Hi. I'm Louise, I'm a floral designer based in Kings Heath, Birmingham. I have a fine art background, and around 7 years ago, took a floral design qualification. I have spent years honing my skills and now enjoy creating florals for all life events. I love to work with British grown, for their movement, delicate textures, and beautiful scent. I am so excited to take part in this special event, celebrating sustainability, floral design, and locally grown, in the very special Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens
