It's International Day of Banks!
To celebrate, we're introducing Unlocking the Vaults...
This two-year National Heritage Lottery-funded project at The Exchange will uncover the history of the building, which was built in the 1930s as the head offices of Birmingham Municipal Bank.
From public events and tours to deep dives into archives and gathering oral histories, Unlocking the Vaults will be a joyful exploration of our history and how this building has influenced our financing for almost 100 years.
Hear from Project Manager, Jane McArdle on how YOU can get involved!
