There are so many ways you can create a beautiful tablescape that are simple and on a budget… we searched high and low for a tablecloth that we loved and let me tell you, we didn’t expect to find it in the bedding section! ✨

When we moved to the city we didn’t know anyone so we thought what better way to make friends than throw a dinner party and invite a bunch of people?!

When Rach’s birthday came around, we jumped at the opportunity to get creative… plus feeding people is definitely our love language 😂

NEW YEAR, NEW US.

You know when you haven’t spoken to someone in a while but you have every intention to and then because it’s been too long you have this overriding anxiety every time you go to message them? That’s us right about now 🙃

We’ve not been on Instagram for a hot minute and we need to be honest and say we REALLY struggle with socials.

It takes up time and brain power that we would much rather put into other areas of the business and that’s caused us to neglect it completely.

We want to be authentic and post what we love and what we’re doing... and what we love the most is working with our couples! We have been swamped with super exciting things that we can’t wait to tell you about in upcoming content!✨

this gloomy weather has us with all our fingers and toes crossed for some brighter days ahead, especially with an outdoor wedding for one of our lovely couples coming up this weekend!

Gang, it’s been a wild couple of weeks here at Bloom & Gather… wedding season has well and truly started and whilst we’re totally loving it, we’ve missed being on socials!

We have been making lots of concept packs, going on venue visits (and a cheeky Nandos) and then emails. Lots and LOTS of emails… anyone else find that emails are actually just endless?!

With being so quiet on socials, we are finally at the penultimate Love Language segment and that is ✨Quality Time✨!

After the year we’ve had, aren’t you SO grateful that we can finally see friends and family again? Having had so much time apart, I think it’s super important to now make your time with people counts. Be intentional, put your phone away, really listen to who you’re with and make new memories! 🤍

There's so many different aspects from stationery to florals, and so many layouts and types of dining to go for! We love how the wedding breakfast often exemplifies the overall design and aesthetic for the entire wedding, and designing in personal touches along the way too is SO much fun!

✨ The Love Languages: Part 3 ✨

Whether this is your love language or not, this one might be the easiest to communicate out of the lot! With the world in the state it’s in right now, drop someone a text to tell them you miss them. You do that, I can guarantee they’ll feel loved 🙂

We’re so completely surrounded by phones and social media, that the original form of communication has become extinct. What happened to a good old fashioned, handwritten love letter? Or just a note to tell your friends and loved ones that you’re fighting their corner, that you’re there for them?

We’re big on encouragement here at Bloom & Gather and we love to show brides, friends and family how much we appreciate them. That being said, why don’t you write a letter, send a text or call a loved one right now to tell them how much they mean to you. You never know how much that can do!
