Documentary wedding photography for those who are wild and free 🌿 Hi there and welcome to my Silverleaf Photography business page.

I graduated with a degree in Photography from Leeds College of Art and subsequently set up as a freelancer 6 years ago. I shoot Portraiture and Weddings as well as Press, PR and Marketing for my bread and butter! I also enjoy working as a community based artist, using my photography and IT skills to run small workshops within the Birmingham and West Midlands area. I have co-ordinated exhibitions and produced books through my work within the community.

Some of my favourite things… camper vans and awesome portraits. 🌿

The last image, in this set of 4, is the Groom’s Mum who is suffering with dementia. This wonderful lady has been lost to her mind and Dhushy often misses the glimpses of who she was. He sent a lovely message after he received their photographs and this line fills my heart with joy…

“For that one moment she was my proud Mum again and you captured that so beautifully.”

I take pictures for just these moments! Photographs last a lifetime and transcend our experiences.

I’ve lost a lot of people during my life and believe this is one of the things which led me to my creative path in photography. I search for beautiful moments during your wedding - showcasing authentic love and connection.

Party time 💥✨

The first dance can so often be a shuffle around the same spot on a dance floor… why not embrace this moment as a married couple and go for it!!!

Davina and Sachin added dry ice, strong lighting and spark machine fireworks. This coupled with awesome dhol drummers certainly made their entrance and first dance one to remember. 💗
