I graduated with a degree in Photography from Leeds College of Art and subsequently set up as a freelancer 6 years ago. I shoot Portraiture and Weddings as well as Press, PR and Marketing for my bread and butter! I also enjoy working as a community based artist, using my photography and IT skills to run small workshops within the Birmingham and West Midlands area. I have co-ordinated exhibitions and produced books through my work within the community.

Portrait making with my son Billy.

I love that we get to spend this time together creating pictures to convey how Billy’s emotions are all over the place at the moment as he moves towards his teenage years.

Sometimes it feels like those teenage years are already here. Billy’s an intelligent boy who loves learning, playing football and gaming. I love the first 2 but not the gaming so much. It seems to make his frustrations and temper worse on occasions. We’re getting there with the balance though. Billy rocks and never fails to make me laugh each and every day.

On Thursday 11th July at 5am 10 burly bailiffs came and tore down the Free Palestine encampment at .

Students had been using their critical thinking and compassion to herald support for the Palestinian people. The far right terrorists who wield Ziosh*t agendas are infiltrating our government. They are infiltrating our UK society, as well as America, to spread hatred and racism.

Our educational institutions are to inspire, educate and progress society. Not to intimidate and suppress the compassionate, intelligent students who care about the world and it’s development with opportunity for all.

Running workshops always reaffirms to me how beneficial and therapeutic creating art is for our mental health and well-being. Taking the time to slow down and talk brings calm and understanding into our day.

The simple, but hugely powerful act of creating, enables our voices to be seen and in turn increases our sense of empowerment and achievement.

July 4th General Election is coming up and the UK is in the worst state it has ever had the misfortune to be in.

Tories have decimated the coffers and humiliated all its citizens in the process.

Covid highlighted how little our Gov cares about investing OUR TAX MONEY wisely with citizens at it's core. The illusion of elite business men has flown out of the window and we are clearly witnessing the extreme lack of accountability, NO regulation for businesses + consumers, reckless manoeuvres which cause sky rocketing inflation, extreme low pay structures for employees, no new affordable housing for UK citizens and the list goes on and on and on....

Our children's future's are about to be further obliterated unless you remove the 2 party race in this shambles of a so called democracy.

These career politicians no longer WORK for their employers (US). They line their own pockets with our money CONSISTENTLY and shamelessly OPENLY.

I'll be voting The Green Party as they are the only party with a fiscal plan that works for the country, industry and therefore its people.

has launched an open art exhibition in 2 city centre locations - Victoria Square + Snowhill Square which is on show until 5th July.

Some of my favourite things… camper vans and awesome portraits. 🌿

The last image, in this set of 4, is the Groom’s Mum who is suffering with dementia. This wonderful lady has been lost to her mind and Dhushy often misses the glimpses of who she was. He sent a lovely message after he received their photographs and this line fills my heart with joy…

“For that one moment she was my proud Mum again and you captured that so beautifully.”

I take pictures for just these moments! Photographs last a lifetime and transcend our experiences.

I’ve lost a lot of people during my life and believe this is one of the things which led me to my creative path in photography. I search for beautiful moments during your wedding - showcasing authentic love and connection.

Party time 💥✨

The first dance can so often be a shuffle around the same spot on a dance floor… why not embrace this moment as a married couple and go for it!!!

Davina and Sachin added dry ice, strong lighting and spark machine fireworks. This coupled with awesome dhol drummers certainly made their entrance and first dance one to remember. 💗
